Second positive stay.
It reconfirms my expectations.
The location is priceless, right in the heart of Catania.
The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Despite being in a very central area, rest is guaranteed thanks to the good sound insulation.
The staff is always available and courteous, especially the gentleman at night.
The breakfast at the bar is also very pleasant.

Not as was advertised on booking site. Beware
Clean room, good location. No on site breakfast, you get sent down the road. Room is in an apartment not a hotel.Lift does not serve the apartment floor so six flight of stairs to climb. Above average size person would not get in shower. Entrance is in dirty back street and stairway is dirty.

Dear Guest, I understand that you may have been expecting a traditional 4 star hotel but all information regarding the type of accommodation and services offered are provided transparently before booking, so there is no need to "BEBARE".
As clearly stated on our official website and booking channels ( no responsible about partners descriptions), Stesicoro InHabit is a boutique guesthouse housed in a charming late 19th-century historic building of Piazza Stesicoro and Via Etnea the is the main street.
We offer an alternative to the traditional hotel experience, combining the character of a historic residence with modern comforts.
Many travellers choose our property specifically to experience the charm and authenticity of staying in one of Catania's historic palaces.
We would like to clarify that some of the photos do not belong to our property or bulding and therefore do not accurately represent the facilities or guest areas of Stesicoro InHabit Catania City Center.
You selectively shared only the pictures that were convenient to support your complaint, without providing a complete and objective view of the property ,the common areas of the building, the room, the bathroom and the main street where actually we are located.
1 The shower dimensions 70x 90 cm and room layouts are accurately represented in the pictures available online, enabling guests to view all room features before booking.
2 Breakfast is served at a carefully selected partner café , allowing guests to enjoy an authentic Sicilian breakfast experience just down the property.
3 Unfortunately, during your stay the elevator experienced an unexpected technical issue involving its electronic control board. We are currently awaiting the replacement component and sincerely apologise for the temporary inconvenience.
4 We reviewed the property description published by the online travel agency you booked and we found out that the characteristics of the property are clearly described correctly.
Thank you for your review and for highlighting two aspects that our guests appreciate most: the cleanliness of our rooms and our exceptional location in the heart of Catania.

Good location, close to everything.
Fabio in reception is very helpful.
Breakfast is not a buffé, it is ala carte so
You can choose some coffee and some sandwich or sweets in a cafeteria around the corner.

Lovely fun stay in this vibrant area
Terrific 5 day stay here in this lovely boutique b and b. Room was great with lovely little balcony looking onto the square. Interesting sights every day . Fabio gave us a great welcome with interesting information on things to do around and about. Across the road for coffee and pastries was so convenient too. Lovely stay would recommend. The front door entrance is just off the square with a buzzer entrance. Always someone around to help. Thank you Fabio and the team room always immaculate too ☀️

Great location. Clean and quiet. Staff speaks some English but limited, but helpful I got by with my beginning Italian ability An elevator is being installed so it will be perfect when that is finished
