Wonderful

A beautiful property surrounded by greenery, convenient parking, and very convenient proximity to the center of Palinuro. Property kept very well, excellent services offered. Very good breakfast with many quality products made by the owners. Cheerful and kind staff.
A great passion shines through.
We had a great time and we recommend it.

Terrible experience: zero flexibility.

I strongly advise against this property. Due to a sudden car breakdown during the trip, we were unable to reach the B&B. We immediately contacted management to explain the emergency situation (absolutely unpredictable and beyond our control) and try to find a reasonable solution together (a date change or a small refund), but we encountered total closed-mindedness and inflexibility.
We understand the rules, but true hospitality is also seen when facing unexpected events. Here you are just a credit card number. Look elsewhere.

Siamo sinceramente dispiaciuti per il guasto all'auto e per l'imprevisto che vi ha impedito di partire per la vostra vacanza: comprendiamo perfettamente la frustrazione legata a una situazione simile.
Allo stesso tempo, riteniamo doveroso fare chiarezza sulle dinamiche di una struttura ricettiva indipendente. Lavoriamo con dedizione per un intero anno al fine di preparare, manutenere e proporre al meglio gli alloggi per la breve stagione estiva. In piena altissima stagione e a ridosso dell'arrivo, una cancellazione dell'ultimo minuto o un cambio data si traducono in un alloggio rimasto inevitabilmente vuoto e in un danno economico diretto.
Non si tratta di considerare gli ospiti come un “numero”, ma di comprendere che le strutture ricettive non possono operare come istituti di credito o enti assicurativi, assumendosi l'onere economico di tutti gli imprevisti personali, per quanto sfortunati e certamente autentici come il vostro. Se dovessimo derogare alle condizioni contrattuali per ogni evento eccezionale (guasti, scioperi, motivi di salute), l'attività non sarebbe sostenibile.
Proprio per tutelare i viaggiatori da eventi imprevedibili e di forza maggiore esistono le polizze assicurative di viaggio, che con pochi euro garantiscono il rimborso integrale senza far gravare il costo dell'imprevisto su chi lavora per accogliervi.
Ci rammarica che la comprensione non sia stata reciproca e che si sia scelta la via di una recensione punitiva solo perché sono state rispettate le condizioni di prenotazione sottoscritte e accettate al momento dell'acquisto.

Beautiful property

We recently stayed at this residence in Palinuro for a week on a B&B basis. Beautiful property, very well maintained, truly comfortable, with a pool and parking. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the only drawback was the somewhat annoying presence of ants, which would come in from the small balcony even into the bathroom, despite the room being cleaned daily. However, in all fairness, I must say that it did not depend on a lack of cleanliness, which I repeat, was done daily and very well. I reported the problem, but, obviously, getting rid of them completely was impossible. Who knows, maybe it was the heat these past few days. Anyway, despite this problem, I still feel like recommending a stay here to everyone and I think I would return without any issues.

Oasis in Palinuro

Third year we visit Villa Mirella. Comfortable oasis in Palinuro, located good distance to beaches, next to is large supermarket (Deco) where you can buy everything you need. Breakfast is great and the staff always nice and service minded.
Will probably be a fourth year too

Good for families who want to relax. There is a swimming pool and it is easy to reach nearby seasides which are great.
