Lovely experience

We had a wonderful time: very kind staff, they did everything to make us feel at home.
The hotel has a mini spa with sauna, Turkish bath, and Kneipp. Jacuzzi and infrared services are available for a fee.
Convenient location for both those arriving by car (free parking) and by train (station is a 5-minute walk: the pedestrian route through the town is recommended because unfortunately there is no sidewalk in the last stretch).
Excellent breakfast.

Good hotel in Colle Isarco

The hotel looks nice, with a not-huge parking lot where about ten cars can park, maybe a few more. The room, for single use, was adequate for one person, a bit small for two. Balcony with a view of the valley. Despite being very close to the railway, the noise is practically non-existent, and rest is peaceful. Breakfast is average for hotels in this category and area, with the possibility of some extras upon request. Dinner was good, with slightly small portions if you have been hiking all day. The staff is courteous and helpful, always present in the dining room. The option to have breakfast on the outdoor terrace is lovely, with a view of the mountains.

A nice place to stay near Vipiteno!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Erna in Colle Isarco on our way home from Abruzzo, Italy to Germany. Hotel Erna is near the very cute town of Vipiteno, where I had visited once before. I thought it would make a good stop for shopping, and I was right!
We arrived to a warm welcome on rainy Friday evening. Since our visit was during the off season, the restaurant was closed. However, there are two little shops within walking distance of the hotel. There's also a train station right by the hotel, and you can get free train fare with the tourist card you get when you check in.
We had a corner room with two big balconies that overlooked the scenic area. The room was otherwise fairly basic, but nice. They'd even arranged our duvets into hearts! What really blew me away, though, were the delicious, warm crescent rolls at breakfast. They weren't flaky like croissants, but were more like rolls filled with sweet paste and topped with toasted almonds. They were SO good!
Hotel Erna had plenty of free parking during our visit, and there was even a tennis court in the back. Unfortunately, it rained and snowed during our visit.
We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to families. It's very clean and well run, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I'd go back!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was cozy and clean. I enjoyed going in the beautiful sauna and steam room. For dinner they served a beautiful 5 course meal that was delicious and fresh. The breakfast was also amazing! I will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone who passes through vipiteno, and I hope to come back here again!
