Nice discovery
That's really nice. Clean apartment in a quiet and delightful setting. Well-kept lawn, beautiful swimming pool, strategic position to visit the surroundings (Cortona, Arezzo, Montepulciano...). Pets are allowed. There is also a small playground for children. Advice!

A perfect property in a quiet location!
The perfect place for us to stay. Such a beautiful property, sensitively split into separate accommodations. We stayed in the smallest but cutest accommodation which the owner refers to as The Little Chalet. Ideal for 2 people, spotlessly clean, with everything needed for our 1 week stay. It has a little covered terrace so when we had a rainy day and everyone else was indoors, we could sit outside, with a glass of wine and still enjoy the heat and the views. The owner organises a family style dinner every Wednesday for all the guests (30€ per adult) which was wonderful and a special part of our trip. All the food and drinks were cooked/selected and locally sourced by our wonderful host and his mother.
We were the only English guests during our stay but everyone else spoke really good English so we were able to socialise with all the other guests.
The pool is lovely, plenty of loungers and chairs all around it, we tended to take out loungers onto the grassy area as we were the only couple amongst families and preferred a quieter spot. I throughly enjoyed the pool when the others were away from it, which was often.
We have stayed in this area before so are familiar with it. The owner provides QR codes (with the free Wi-Fi) that give so much helpful information on everything you need to know, local shops,dining suggestions etc.
On our last evening, we returned from dinner in Cortona, to find a lovely bottle of wine (local) as a parting gift from the owner.

The TOP
Agriturismo Il Borgo, what to say, in numbers I would say 5/5. After years of holidays in Cortona and having frequented several farmhouses, this year we found the best. Recommended to us by our friends from Cortona, we arrived in an environment that satisfied us in every way. First of all, the cleanliness both inside the apartment and outside in the large garden with very well-kept swimming pool, the very kind welcome of Mrs. Luciana, her children with their girls who all work hard to satisfy the needs of the customers . I would like to add another positive note about the services you can book such as a "themed dinner" which also includes a typical Tuscan mixed grill with Florentine steak attached, all freshly cooked and served in the reserved space in front of your apartment. We must thank Mrs. Luciana and Emanuele who made us feel like family members rather than guests.

Posticino storico di "famiglia".
Consigliato per chi vuole passare una vacanza all'insegna del Relax senza grosse pretese.
A disposizione: piscina, bici, giardino, barbecue.
Le diverse case presenti nel borgo vicine tra loro, danno l'idea di pernottare insieme a famiglie di amici per stare insieme nello stesso periodo.
Idea per godersi la compagnia e il luogo.
Si ritrova in un punto strategico per visitare Montepulciano la nostalgica Cortona, Arezzo, il Lago Trasimeno e dintorni.
Da non dimenticare il Bar Bistrot Fuoriporta di Lucignano, vale la pena per fermarsi mangiando qualcosa di tipico.
Infine, (non cosa meno importante) il Borgo di Cortona ha dei proprietari borgo gentili, borgo accoglienti e borgo garbati.

Tranquilla assicurata
Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni in questo agriturismo. La struttura è suddivisa in piccoli appartamenti dotati di ogni comfort, anche per cucinare. All’estero ci sono prati ben curati e una piscina molto apprezzata, fornita di lettini e ombrelloni. Ambiente pulito, luminoso e bagno con doccia comodo. I letti un po’ datati e leggermente scomodi. La posizione è ottima per muoversi comodamente tra Toscana e Umbria, distante pochi chilometri dal centro di Cortona. Il proprietario giovane e gentilissimo, ci ha consigliato dei posti dove mangiare eccellentemente. Disponibile a farci restare anche oltre il check-out. Anche il nostro gatto ha gradito la vacanza.
