Authentic experience

If you have ever walked through Italian villages and wondered what it’s like to live in one of the little stone houses, then this is for you. Truly authentic with thick stone walls,two bedrooms and a kitchen, with a table in the centre of kitchen. There is a nod to development, electricity, running water, ceiling fans, tv, fridge/freezer. We didn’t do any cooking so don’t know what the gas hob works like.
The owner, Manfredi is just lovely and so helpful. He met us at the port and walked us round to the house. He also helped us with restaurant recommendations. We loved our one night stay there. Air con would make it perfect although less authentic. For anybody with mobility issues there are five steps to get into the house. Also (booking.com does not make this clear) the charge for sheets/towels is €15 per person.

Paura!!!

Ho soggiornato (sic!!!) con mia moglie mia cugina ed il marito in questa struttura dal 2/9 al 5/9 al costo di € 525. Che dire, le foto sul sito sono tarocche, o, fatte in altre location, noi si era in via Archimede 26, i muri grondavano umidita' e si staccavano pezzi di intonaco, alle pareti erano apposti pannelli di polistirolo verniciati, un bagnoera posto sotto una scala senza finestra e con la porta a 10 cm dai fornelli della cucina, l'altro aveva la finestra, come una camera, su un ballatoio confinange con una rosticceria, un puzzo nauseabondo dalle 10,30 alle 22,00 piu' schiamazzi e musica a palla tutto il giorno, i letti avevano le molle che ti si conficcavano nelle parti sacre. I miei parenti, post telefonata con il proprietario
che ha fatto spallucce, essendo agrigentini, hanno fatto le valige e se ne sono andati via. Allego alcune foto a testimonianza di quanto affermato.

IL POSTO PIÚ SPORCO DOVE IO ABBIA DORMITO

Siamo stati a Favignana dal 19 al 21 agosto con due bimbi di un anno. Abbiamo pagato 300€ a notte (prezzo da hotel di lusso), abbiamo trovato in casa:
-mucchio di capelli in doccia
-sporcizia e bottiglie di plastica sotto il letto
-pareti che cadevano
-letto con molle rotte che hanno distrutto in 2 notti la mia schiena
-rubinetti sporchi e pieni di ruggine
-cuscini altissimi che distruggono la cervicale per dormire
-biancheria sporca e lavata con lavaggi rapidi da 15 minuti
SCONSIGLIO ASSOLUTAMENTE QUESTO POSTO, impensabile con 2 bimbi neonati stare in un posto del genere. DA DENUNCIA!

Il minimo indispensabile.

Niente di che! Ideale per chi non ha molte pretese e per chi come noi vive l’isola più fuori che dentro.
Ideale perché in centro.
Tuttavia suggerirei a proprietari di attenzionare la pulizia, la manutenzione dei bagni ed i dettagli (quelli fanno sempre la differenza!specie se per due sere,fuori stagione,si fanno pagare €.200,00).
