Great facility. Rooms are tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort.
The staff is very kind and helpful; we asked if we could have the room ready early, and they accommodated us.
The breakfast is excellent with a wide selection of sweet and savory options.
Convenient location for reaching the city center on foot and Piazza Ariostea, which hosts concerts.
Absolutely recommended.

It is not a 4 star

I stayed at this property with my family and my boyfriend only for one night returning from a trip abroad with the car. Hotel acceptable but not 4 stars absolutely. The room left much to be desired, the cleanliness of the same was not the best. The air conditioner inside the room made a very loud noise that was only attenuated by lowering the fan. Antique furnishings, all very old and worn out by time, in my opinion this hotel could use a nice interior renovation. Corridor with stained carpet, let's say it does not look very good. Positive note the breakfast, very varied, from sweet to savory all delicious. The staff was also very kind and courteous. Overall I could go back but this hotel should be downgraded to 3 stars (and only for breakfast, because if I should give a room rating for me it would be a 2 star).
P.S. The location plays in favor as the hotel is a short walk from the center

A good stay.

A very good hotel located practically in the center, just a 5-minute walk from the Estense Castle and a 15-minute walk from the train station. The positive notes are the staff, who are always very kind and helpful (reception, night porter, cloakroom attendant, and at breakfast), the breakfast is very abundant and varied, the bathrooms are new, and the lobby and dining room are well-furnished and luxurious. The negative notes are some fixtures that are a bit outdated, especially in the room, and the cleanliness is not optimal. Perhaps in some respects the 4 stars are a tad exaggerated, but it is still a hotel that I recommend and would choose again if I were to return to Ferrara.

Good rooms and location. Hospital food

I came here on a field trip with my school
The location was very good a few minutes from the center of ferrara. The rooms were more or less beautiful (mine was large and dark and with a "balcony" overlooking a kind of shed full of pigeons and their excrement. These same pigeons would wake me up like they were roosters. The room of my companions was smaller, with 2 sofa beds very uncomfortable).
Now I wanted to talk about a sore note from the hotel: THE FOOD.
The breakfast was bad because in addition to cad being left all day to get moisture, simply covered by a towel was also poor in content: it did not have coffee, eggs, honey and fruit elements that for a hotel breakfast are essential.
Dinner (and I don't know how they did it) were even worse: the pasta was ok, specific that it wasn't good, but it was edible, but the second was incedibly bad: the first night we had the pleasure of eating a frozen "colotella" and a puree (the puree was not bad, but to make a bad puree you also have to commit). On the second night we ate frozen spinach (which was more brown than green) and chicken strips, with the consistency of an anti-stress and also with too much salt or too little depending on the dish. The dessert was a brick they called cake. Foods for the intolerant were even worse, but I'll spare you.
Maybe they gave us this food because we were a school, but I can't be sure (and dogs don't eat like that either).

My stay wasn’t the best as one can expect, to start with I was given a room without view. The cleanness of the room was fair by Italian standards. A night staff member was horrible as he racially profiled me. The rest of the staffs were great, as what you expect in a hotel of such standards. The breakfast was very basic and nothing to write. The business friendliness is great as they have few amenities and location of the hotel great.
