Close to train station and short walk to all the sites

Great location, not far from the train station (except gps sent us in the wrong direction). There is a Carrefour small supermarket on the way if you need to stock up on anything. Not bad prices. Check in was easy friendly, helpful staff. We arrived early no problem storing our luggage securely. Great breakfast both hot buffet and continental, very pleasant staff in the breakfast room. Good size room. Easy walking to all the sites, nice walking down via the Arno River to the Uffizi and Duomo. Very happy with the hotel and would highly recommend staying there.

Fantastic hotel

Fantastic accomodation, very clean, food and excellent service from all staff. Good value. Definitely recommend a visit.

Convenient with excellent breakfast service

Our travel agent who does all the bookings for the UGA Italy Study Abroad program suggested this hotel. We were so pleased because it is a beautiful boutique hotel very close to the SM Novella train station and within walking distance to the heart of Florence city center. When we arrived in the room, we had a personalized welcome letter, thanking us for having booked through Delta vacations, robes, and discounts for the spa. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived. Right outside the hotel on Saturday morning there was anRight outside the hotel on Saturday there was an open air market, which was fun for shopping for souvenirs. Also, right next to the hotel, is a laundromat, which was convenient during our five day stay here. The breakfast (included with our room) was stocked with so many options. They even made vegan croissants and cappuccinos just for us. I was especially impressed with the hostesses in the restaurant who became friends who gave me suggestions for where I could go for day trips as well as where to buy hypoallergenic laundry detergent. They were so kind and hospitable that I felt like I was leaving my family the day we checked out. There is a fitness area, spa services, a restaurant, and meeting rooms as part of the hotel. You cannot go wrong with this hotel for the service, excellent breakfast, large rooms, modern bathroom, and exceptional service. Although the nearby train station is known for pickpockets, we had no trouble and felt very safe walking around even at night.

It's not a 4 star hotel, but compared to some other hotels in Florence it is probably better. The bathroom had a great deal of mold on the floor by the tub, which can cause allergic health issues and needs to get fixed by the hotel. The location is walking distance to the train station and the river. Breakfast has something for every one. There were multiple car rentals around the hotel, but to see Florence you really don't need a car and driving may be tricky on the narrow streets of Florence. It has a good public bus system around the hotel which we used, for 1.5 Euro ticket, using the google map guide. The neighborhood does not seem great but felt safe to walk, for the few days of stay in Florence. I missed a day of breakfast as I had to leave very early, so they gave me a bag of breakfast when I asked them, which was very nice.

Awesome stay a few steps from historical Florence

The hotel's location is great. A block away from the river, which makes for a really nice walk to Ponte Vecchio. And just a few blocks *(10-15 mins) to the Accademia, Uffizi, Duomo, etc.
The staff was very welcoming and helpful.
The rooms are not huge but they are a good size. Bathrooms are nice, clean and modern.
Hotel also has parking if needed.
On our last day, we left at 3 AM and the hotel provided us with a "boxed" breakfast, which was a really nice touch.
