Excellent place to stay quiet residential street near the beach and the airport. Safe secure parking, nice rooms and several good pizza places to walk to nearby.

Terrible

I stayed for the weekend; it is definitely a poorly maintained facility with an uncomfortable bed and rude staff. Before they gave me the room, I asked if I could put on my swimsuit, and they answered me with arrogance at the...
beach club.
There is a changing room, and they closed the door immediately. Furthermore, if I wanted to put on my swimsuit, I had to pay a supplement of €20. Are you kidding? They already give you the room after...
3:00 PM after paying €175 for just one night. They have gotten full of themselves. They asked me for an extra €10 for breakfast. Terrible in every way.

Very bad

Unfortunately the experience at the B&B Il Girasole in Formia was bad from every point of view.
The hygiene situation was seriously deficient: dirty sheets, inadequately cleaned towels and an unacceptable overall level of cleanliness. Even the toilets were practically non-existent, with no toilet paper, something inconceivable for a structure that calls itself a B&B.
The staff proved unprepared, while the owners were rude and unprofessional, with no attention to the customer or willingness to solve the reported problems.
The rooms are sold as B&B rooms, but in reality they look more like boxes, small, uncomfortable and absolutely not up to what was promised.
As for breakfast, when booking we asked to add it, as it was not provided for in the agreement, paying regularly separately. In the morning, however, we were faced with a breakfast devoid of fresh produce, with poor general hygiene, with no possibility of verifying the expiration dates of the foods. Cappuccino and coffee were dispensed from an old vending machine, absolutely not adequate neither for quality nor for hygiene standards, as also documented by the photos.
Reading other reviews, it is not clear how such a serious problem as hygiene shortage is not reported more clearly, because it is a fundamental aspect that should be the minimum guaranteed.
In conclusion, structure absolutely not recommended. Value for money non-existent and experience not to be repeated.

Parking was easy & secure. Room H12 was clean & comfortable. Bathroom has been renovated. Some saucepans with lids & new fryingpans would be good. Larger cups also.

WEEKEND DA INCUBO!

I don't even want to comment on the structure, which is practically a sham and does not offer any kind of Service, but I absolutely have to report my experience, one of the worst of my life. Check out was scheduled for 10 and 10:20, the manager, whose Welcoming had already been bad, literally broke into our room finding my husband naked. To our complaints, he replied "the room is mine, you should have left at 10". We got so scared, I was upset and we even thought about calling the local authorities. However, in the end, we preferred to go home and forget this bad weekend right away.
