A pleasant surprise, despite the reviews read!
We just left the hotel and I want to leave a positive review immediately, because before coming I had read so many negative opinions that do not reflect our experience at all.
The hotel is in good condition and we loved it. Our room was spacious, bright, with walls in very relaxing blue shades. Comfortable is the presence of the air conditioner — essential in the heat — and also the balcony, which despite without a table and chairs was perfect for enjoying a little coolness in the evening.
The bathroom surprised us: spacious and functional, which is not always found, especially in hotels of this category. The only small shortcoming is the mini fridge, but you can still manage without too many problems.
Impeccable cleaning: every day the room was cleaned, towels changed and the bed made. Really Great Service. The staff was always very friendly and welcoming, we felt comfortable right away.
Also on breakfast I had read a lot of criticism, but our experience was different: different types of croissants, good and well stuffed, and a great cappuccino that we took every day. The prices are normal, if not even lower than other places we have been.
If you love simplicity and are looking for an authentic setting, this hotel is perfect. For us it was a great experience and, if we have the opportunity, we will be back!

Clean hotel, comfortable family room
We are a family of 5 and needed a place to stay for one night only, driving across Italy from South to North. Our stop in Frosinone was convenient and comfortable, great wi-fi and clean rooms. Would recommend this hotel for business also.

Clean, but
I didn't realise this was a hotel at first and had asked the proprietress in my best (poor) Italian whether she might recommend a reasonable mid-range hotel. 'You can stay here,' she replied, '50 Euros, take it or leave it.' As it was getting late and I had ridden over 100km on my loaded bicycle I decided to take it, after she assured me the rooms tranquillo (quiet). The upstairs, out the back room was nice and clean and fairly modern, however it directly overlooked the daughter and her equestrian husband's dog compound, containing three large, madly barking dogs baking in the late afternoon sun (2 Dobermans and an Alsatian from memory, amusing themselves in taking turns attacking each other's privates). When they weren't barking at my every move perceived through the net curtain they were being wound up by a small black dog in the same yard but outside the cage, which I think was also a member of the establishment. After my shower and much barking, I went downstairs to bring this to the attention of the owner, explaining there was a small black dog (piccolo nero carne) winding up the three in captivity. Signora gruffly nodded at me, tuned heel and proceeded out of the building, not realising I was following her. (I wanted to see here wrangle the mad mutts you see.) Only she went into the saddlery next door run by the daughter, where she started to imitate my complaint to her. He (il gringo) says 'piccolo nero carne bow, wow, wow' etc. 'Oh yes,' I piped up from behind, surprising her and her daughter, 'bow, wow, wow! Multo non-tranquillo!' Anyway, the daughter separated the dogs and they sort of quietened down a bit and for most of the night, but were at it again first thing next morning shortly after sun up. Dinner was quite good for 10 Euros, home made lasagna and a grilled veal chop washed down by the house red. Breakfast in the morning was served I think by the daughter's caballero husband, as broad as he was tall, shirt two sizes to small, hair brilliantined into place. 'Where is the brekker room?' I inquired in my most macho voice. 'What you want, you want cafe? And here you can have one pastry,' Dobbin nodded towards the counter. So anyway, it was one of those lousy Italian breakfasts. All in all, the room was perfectly adequate, however the owner and her family were as inhospitable as they were unfriendly.

Punto di forza della nostra struttura è proprio la cortesia e la cordialità che offriamo ai nostri ospiti per rendere il loro soggiorno il più piacevole possibile.
Come Lei ha avuto cura di sottolineare infatti, non abbiamo trascurato alcun dettaglio, adoperandoci per rendere gradevole l’ambiente che deve ospitare i nostri clienti, curando attentamente la pulizia degli ambienti e completando il quadro con una cucina sana e gustosa.
Siamo amareggiati che la persona presente al momento, non conoscesse bene la Sua lingua, cosa che può aver portato a qualche incomprensione.
Al riguardo Le specifichiamo che la nostra struttura, dà accoglienza anche ai nostri amici a quattro zampe, curando per loro, su richiesta, degli ambienti specifici che possano assicurare il loro benessere come quello dei loro amici umani.
In tanti anni di attività, a tal riguardo, non abbiamo avuto la minima rimostranza anzi, chi si è trovato a passare dalla nostra struttura in compagnia di pelosi, ha molto gradito la nostra capacità organizzativa.

In many years, we haven't had any grievance or rather. Our guest havings animals, appreciated our organizational capacity.

L'hotel ha subito una recente ristrutturazione, almeno nelle parti comuni, di dubbio gusto.
La mia camera era pulita, ma penosa negli arredi. Con una TV piccola e malfunzionante e una scrivania senza lo spazio per una sedia. Un frigobar sarebbe stato un lusso di troppo, quindi non c'è.
La colazione al banco del bar è desolante.
Il personale è piuttosto freddo, la cui gentilezza si limita al non prenderti a male parole.
Visto il contesto ho evitato la cena, e credo di aver fatto bene.

Solo pranzo
Ci hanno fatto a sedere in un tavolo sporco (tovaglia)vino marsalato, i primi penne arrabbiata buone,i secondi le due bracciole bruciate da non presentare a un tavola da ristorante mentre mangiavi televisore tutto volume ,poca educazione verso clienti anche se eravamo solo io e mia moglie
