Rustic retreat
Went as a large family, Stayed 3 nights in 4 rooms in June 2017. Rooms varied and scattered all over the building. Some have lovely views, some overlook the street. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean. Rooms 1 & 2 share a bathroom and a communal door which is great if you have kids. The down side is that room 2 does not have any windows, just a skylight. Room can become very stuffy in the heat. People with mobility issues should check with the owners first as there is no lift and a large flight of steps at the entrance to take you to the rooms. Breakfast is served 100 metres further up the street in another Restaurant.

Weekend in Fumone
We stayed at the B&B del falco nero for two nights. Check-in and breakfast are at another facility located about 60 meters away called “the circle of Llull.” The two structures are clearly distinguished by care, services and furnishings. While the circle of Llull is also equipped with a spa, which we have used at a cost of 100 € apart with a Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath perfect for two people and stone bath all just renovated, the environment at the black falcon changes a lot. The room is actually cute, solid wood ceiling as well as wardrobe, TV cabinet, chair and small shelves as bedside tables but the bathroom is a disaster. Totally to be restored. Flush and aerator are terribly noisy, the room is not soundproofed so you can hear everything, from the voices of those walking under the only window (which does not ventilate the environment well and has the mosquito net broken) to the fact that the room they gave us was adjacent to a small common room with a table with chairs, coffee machine with pods that leaves a little to be desired, mini fridge and kettle. If in the common room of the B & B there are people until late at night, you can not rest or enjoy privacy because you hear everything. The Wi-Fi does not work, has no signal and throughout the village of Fumone the phone does not take well so the Wi-Fi Service is important. At the circle of Llull instead works. The bathroom is in need of renovation. The shower tray is non-existent and floods the entire bathroom when you take a shower, essential for other reasons as there is no bidet. Only on the first day we were offered two coffee pods, a single bottle of still water and two mini sachets of shampoo and shower foam despite having booked the whole weekend. The staff is only in the circle of Llull and is the top. Very nice ladies are considerate. Friendly and attentive to customer needs. There is no air conditioning nor a fan available so with the vapors produced by the shower and hairdryer in summer, you suffer a little from the heat especially because with a single window that does not make electricity, the air does not circulate well. It would be nice to have two extra pillows and not just one if you want to read a book and lean well on the bed headboard. Bed quite comfortable although with springs that tend to push you towards the center. For the rest the place is clean and the village fantastic so in the end for the price paid is also good because the village of Fumone deserves so much.

Well but with some caution to observe
We stayed for the weekend at the inn il Falco nero. Great location to enjoy Fumone and the surrounding villages. The room is spartan, very small, the absence of a bidet and a fixed shower box makes the bathroom not particularly easy. IMPORTANT NOTE: the noises! The walls look like tissue paper, you hear the patron of the room down the hall coughing, then imagine the slaughter caused by a boiler and a drain roaring like a motorcycle engine. If someone goes to the bathroom at night you wake up with them. I recommend earplugs if you want to hope to sleep. It does not depend on the owners of the b & b but I would suggest to hang a sign to push patrons to observe hours of silence. We had the misfortune to have neighbors who got up at 5:30 in the morning and walked around the common area laughing and talking loudly until 7:00, so maybe a sign calling for quiet at least until 7:00, would not hurt. Another note, if you are tall the double bed unfortunately will leave your feet outside and you will be very tight because even very small, the breakfast is bar, croissant and cappuccino, nothing but rusks and a simple donut. Overall, for the super competitive price, it is a good place to take advantage of for visits.

Some changes inside the room can improve the living room, the bidet not present in the bathroom is worth mentioning , a shower box would have prevented the water from escaping on the floor, the adapter for the hairdryer was missing

Very central location.
Cozy structure, but the rooms are a little dated.
Breakfast not in the hotel but in one very close by.
