After years, still at the TOP!
I used to come to this hotel as a child and then as a teenager every year in the month of September, when schools started later, together with my family and that of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. The first time was in 1970. The night before departure was an event; I remember my parents packing the suitcases and the difficulty in falling asleep, thinking about the excitement of leaving at dawn. Then the arrival in Igea Marina in the late morning, in time for a swim before lunch at no. 59 Bagno Gino (still there at the time) after greeting Mr. Guido and his family. Exactly 40 years later (the last time was in 1986), I returned with my wife and one of my children in the last few days. What can I say? Aside from the many memories and emotions after years of absence, Hotel Agostini was top-notch back then and has only improved over time. A family management that has always had the ability to look ahead and anticipate the needs of the clientele in a proactive way. Many changes seen after years, but I won't go on; everything was perfect: cleanliness, services, staff, management, courtesy, entertainment... and the pride and joy, the cuisine! A must-try, taken care of down to the smallest detail and always exquisite. The homemade pasta by Mr. Guido Agostini is excellent, with whom I had the opportunity to reminisce about the good times spent here and whose exceptional memory I appreciate. In conclusion, if you come to these parts, you cannot find anything better! I am only attaching a few photos of the dishes tasted and a sunrise observed from the panoramic terrace.

Ciao Guido, devo ammettere che leggere la tua recensione mi ha davvero emozionato. Ritornare all’Hotel Agostini dopo esattamente 40 anni, questa volta con tua moglie e tuo figlio, e ritrovare attraverso i tuoi ricordi una parte della storia della nostra famiglia è qualcosa di veramente speciale. ❤️
Mi ha fatto ancora più piacere sapere che hai avuto modo di incontrare mio padre Guido, ricordare insieme i tempi passati e ritrovarlo ancora oggi, ogni mattina, con le mani in pasta a preparare la pasta fresca per i nostri ospiti. Alcune cose, fortunatamente, non cambiano mai!
Dal tuo primo soggiorno nel 1970 l’Hotel è cambiato tantissimo, ma sapere che hai ritrovato lo stesso spirito di allora, insieme alla voglia di continuare a migliorare, è uno dei complimenti più belli che potessi farci.

Fantastic experience.
I have no words to describe how my wife and I felt at this property for 10 days; oops, excuse the term, not "felt," but rather "PAMPERED."
Cleanliness, friendliness, excellent cuisine, entertainment, involvement in events, but ABOVE ALL, an AMAZING staff, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!!.

An excellent stay at Hotel Agostini!
We spent a very beautiful vacation at Hotel Agostini in Bellaria-Igea Marina and we have excellent memories of it.
First of all, a big thank you to all the staff, who were adorable, smiling, available, and attentive throughout our stay.
The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable, which is really appreciated for a family vacation.
The location is also perfect, with direct access to the sea and private lounge chairs, a real plus for fully enjoying the beach without having to worry about finding a spot. ☀️
We also really enjoyed the dining, with very good and varied meals, as well as the breakfast, which was hearty and high-quality.
In summary, a hotel that we recommend without hesitation for the quality of the service, the cleanliness, the location, and the dining.
Thanks to the entire team at Hotel Agostini for these wonderful vacations! We will return with great pleasure.

Beautiful all-inclusive holiday
We parked our car directly at the hotel. Care must be taken here, you have to park obliquely between two posts. If the parking lot is full, there's probably another one two blocks away. We were greeted very friendly upon arrival. After our ID cards were scanned, we went to our room (Suite Mare No. 301) on the 3rd floor with an employee. The walk from the elevator on the third floor to the room was very nice with wooden floor and bamboo paneling on the wall and ceiling. Instead of keys or key cards, you get a QR code that you have to scan at the reader at the door. For the sake of simplicity, we photographed the QR code with our mobile phones, so we always had it with us and did not have to carry the printed QR code. The air conditioning did not run on arrival, so it felt 40 degrees in the room, but we were able to cool that down quite quickly. The floor slabs on the terrace are laid only loosely and not grouted. The dessert tables on the box spring bed are equipped with sockets as well as USB sockets for charging various devices. There are many storage facilities in the bathroom. We were assigned an outdoor table including sea view, this was then our fixed table for lunch and dinner. At breakfast you choose the table. At lunch and dinner there is always enough staff, you choose between 4-5 first and second courses. The menus were translated into German in our case. Ordering the desired food only happens directly at the respective meal and not the day before, as you know from other hotels. Starter and dessert are available in buffet form. The communication with the staff works in English or Italian. Drinks include still or sparkling water, red wine, white wine, vino frizzante, lemon soda, cola, fanta, iced tea peach to order. Delicious fruit as a dessert, especially the chilled melons. However, the sweets were – as usual in Italy – too sweet. Lemon sorbet and three types of ice cream are also available daily. Once there was a themed evening where there were classic dishes from Emilia Romagna in buffet form including freshly grilled meat. Special requests were also made for children, e.g. pasta without sauce or pasta with tomato/bolognese sauce. French fries were always available at the buffet. We adults liked the main courses mostly, usually there was something for everyone and the food was always very nicely served. The pool is located in the courtyard of the hotel, so depending on the position of the sun it was quite shaded and fresh. The heated pool is divided is a large pool and a small pool with Jacuzzi function. The hotel is separated by a street. On the beach we had two sunbeds and an umbrella in the third row. The breakwaters in the water ensure that no large waves reach the beach. At least with small children, this has advantages. The walk to the sea was very short. The beach cafés were now visually not a highlight, normal with plastic chairs, etc. Price per cappuccino / latte macchiato at 1.80 – 2.00 EUR. The sea was mostly clean, sometimes with jellyfish. On Friday night a magician (Benny Boy) came and did magic with the little children. Near the port is a Ferris wheel. The journey costs 8 EUR from 11 years and 5 EUR from 2 years.
Advantages:
- The advantage on 3. Stock: There are very few rooms, so no loud door banging in the evening and also a great view
- Large room
- Large roof terrace
- Two televisions
- Two air conditioners
- Sufficient electrical outlets
- Night lights installed directly in the wall
- Soundproof windows and access door
- Large shower with two rain showers and a hand shower, which is super convenient, so showering is super fast when there are four of you.
- For a security deposit of EUR 10 per towel, you can exchange the pool and beach towels at the reception every day between 17:30 and 19:30. This is really super practical and pleasant if you can just pick up fresh towels every day
- One Agostini-printed metal bottle is available at reception for free per stay.
- In the lobby there is a water dispenser for still or sparkling water, which can be used at any time
- For breakfast there are delicious coffee drinks from a strainer carrier at the bar.
- The highlight at breakfast for the children was the pancake machine.
- The hotel wifi was fast and also reached to the lounger on the beach.
Disadvantages:
- Just a small lift for the entire hotel
- Carpets on the lower floors and staircases dirty
- Leaking air from air conditioning also draws in "night mode". Fortunately, we didn't catch a cold
- The laminate flooring is dirty or has split, which is why gaps can be seen.
- The plate on which the sinks are mounted has worn edges, presumably due to water/moisture.
- There are no roller blinds as on the lower floors, only blackout curtains.
- The water pressure of the rain showers was quite low
- The terrace has no awning and no umbrella, so you can only sit there after sunset.
- There are two chairs (for four people!?). One of the chairs was broken at the back.
- In front of the terrace there is still a part of the roof on which countless air conditioning devices are mounted. They weren’t loud, but so you had, whether upstairs you just had an oblique view of the more, we had expected differently. In addition to the two chairs, there are two loungers, which we used to dry the towels and bathing clothes after bathing.
- One of the reading lamps on the box spring bed is loose and should be fixed or replaced again.
- The box spring bed is super soft, despite topper, which is why one of us swerved to the children's pull-out sofa, which was not comfortable either, but was always better than the box spring bed.
- At breakfast there are hardly any staff, the tables are not cleared. Often we had to clean dishes from predecessors ourselves and set the table ourselves.
- Juices at breakfast were picked up from the vending machine. These were, as usual, inedible in Italy
- Playroom where children can eat together with staff of children's entertainment is not attractive and far away from the restaurant
- The mosaic tiles in the pool were often very sharp-edged, many were missing. Some children including one of ours have contracted a bleeding wound. The pool is in urgent need of renovation!
- When many people were in the pool, it was usually very noisy, due to the design (courtyard) and partial roofing
- Shopping in the parallel street, but lots of shops manageable. There is a cheap 1-euro shop nearby
- The children's entertainment in this hotel is designed for toddlers, quite boring and the same is done almost daily. In comparison, the animation of the neighboring hotels was much cooler – especially on the beach.

100% recommended
Very nice experience and discovery. Hotel and clean room. Hotel ideally located, close to shops on foot. We just have to cross the road to the beach. Parking for the car. The big highlight is the restaurant: very nice waitress, the dishes are varied and succulent. Pool area small but sufficient. In short, everything was perfect
