I recommend it
I found myself not well but very well. Inside the country. View of the Old Port. 50 meters from the main pedestrian road. 60 meters from the walking path that leads to the New Port

The most beautiful terrace in Lampedusa
Very beautiful!!! It's hard to find fault with this bed and breakfast. You know when they say: "I feel like I'm at home?" Well, that's how it is here. A unique refinement and friendliness on the part of the hosts. We only stayed for 2 days, but when we left we were very sorry because for us the holiday is not just beach, sea, sun, but also sharing experiences and listening to stories of life and the places visited. The hosts are very good people and the structure is simply wonderful. Try it, you won't regret it!

Friendly Pension and very central
Mr Angelo picked me up from the airport, a very friendly guy who understood a little English. Breakfast was Al fresco on the roof top terrace, the view from the bedroom was lovely, prices were very good, 1 € on the bus anywhere on the island including magnificent rabbit beach, there is NO problem with immigrants or overbearing police.

Unforgettable experience
We had a fantastic stay at the "casa del cavaliere" of Mr. Angelo, a truly old style italian 'Cavaliere'.
The house is very comfortable, with an ashtonishing view directly over the colorful "porticciolo" of Lampedusa.
The island itself has the best beaches, like la 'spiaggia del coniglio', and the "paese" is very small and beautiufull, with local shops and restaurants run by truly sicilian people which make you feel you are living in a '50 italian neo impressionist movie. Of course fresh fish is the best food in town, and really the fish here taste better than any fish I have tasted before. It is the cooking or the quality of the ingredients? Both of them, perhaps.
We have been there at Angelo's for two weeks, myself with wife and two children, and Mr Angelo and his kind wife maria made us feel like VIP guests with all sorts of courtesies and small attention which surely make the difference. Now we moved for our next two weeks to another more exotic continent, but this experience of Lampedusa at the casa del cavaliere will remain in our memories and wishes for a loong long time. We actually did not plan any repeat for next year, but considering from how much we miss the place already i fear that next year will be again Lampedusa. Thank you Angelo and Maria and wish we will meet soon again.

Great place to stay
We stayed in the tent on the roof terrass. It was very nice to be outside all the time. You might think that being without aircon would be too warm, but the temperature during the night was perfect and the fresh air was great.
We took the chance to eat the lovely home made food offered there. Sea food every day was great. Much better than in the restaurants.
Angelo and Maria are very helpful and takes good care of you.
The location in the harbour with a beautiful view and close to the main street was a perfect location for us.
The closest beach is also in walking distance, but we recommend to rent a car or moto to see the rest of the island. We rented the car from Angelo for a week for a very reasonable price.
