Big Dissapointment on Aquamarina
PLUS : Good location, huge swimming pool (salt water unfortunately), beach just next to swimming pool, great rest infrastructure everywhere (beach and swimming pool), Animation was OK, the animator guy was great but there was low level quality show. However sympatic animation as Foam and Color party !
MINUS : Major dissapointment comes from the mobilhome accomodation. We stayed in the Aquamarina, there is a lot of space whih was good but this is so old ! Missing a lot of convenient materials (cisors, lighter for cooking, good knife,..), door was broken, curtain wasn't fixed to the wall, kitchen is fallen apart. Those home must have more than 20 years old. If you look in details it's pretty catastrophic. I could agree if the price was cheaper but I have paid +/-325€/night for 2 adults and 2 kids for the last week of August, 2300€ for 1 week! At this price, I expect way better recent accomodation ! For that major reason, I leave a very medium low notes and do not consider to come back. They should rebuild completely all those Acquamarina if they ask for that price.

Best campsite in Lignano
Events are totally great and varied - it is especially great that the pool is also open here in the evening/at night.

Really good experience.
The pool was poorly PH-treated for it burned and swept crazy in the eyes if you got it in. Much sand on the bottom of it. We did not experience it was a problem to get a chair (week 28 and 29).
Too much noise at the pool all the time. Ok with gymnastics and a little music there, but when there were competitions then the whole pool should simply listen to the screaming and screaming in the speakers - it is unnecessary and you could hardly talk together even if you were in the furthest corner. It's hard for people to kick away with balls far apart in the pool. We and our little children have been hit by many hard balls that hurt.
Old mobilehomes (we lived in Aquamarina) but works - lovely large and with plenty of space. Little missing a oven or microwave.
Nice selection in pizza/restaurant, but they should find a better system for it. A bit expensive. We waited over an hour some days for pizza.
Some staff should come on course in kindness. They were probably irritable or angry.

The restaurant in the area was disappointing, the pizzeria restaurant in the area was good.
Positive that the pool was saltwater.
Be aware that it is a large campsite, it will be a little walk.
