Beautiful experience
Unique experience! Nice hotel, friendly staff and delicious dinner! The night in the mountain hut entitles you to a super discounted price for the cable cars (and also for another lift on the other side of the valley) so in the end the quality / price ratio is great!

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Rifugio Presena
I want to share my unfortunate experience with Rifugio Presena, which turned what should have been a pleasant visit into a frustrating ordeal. After enjoying lunch at the restaurant, I damaged my expensive 3L Goretex ski pants due to a protruding nail on one of their chairs. What followed was a lengthy and disappointing battle for fair compensation.
Initially, the staff seemed cooperative, acknowledging the issue and assuring me they would handle it through their insurance. However, after weeks of back-and-forth communication, delays, and repeated requests for additional information and photos, their final offer was an insulting €100—far below the actual cost of my pants 400-600 €. When I asked for proof of how they determined this amount, my request was ignored.
Rather than taking responsibility, Rifugio Presena shifted the issue onto their insurance provider, showing little regard for customer care or fairness. Despite my repeated efforts to reach a reasonable resolution, I was left feeling dismissed and undervalued as a customer.
I expected a reputable establishment to act professionally, but this experience proved otherwise. If they cannot maintain their own furniture properly, they should at least take responsibility for any damage caused to their guests.
Did they offer an espresso, a drink, or even a bottle of wine as a gesture of goodwill? NO!
I strongly advise others to think twice before visiting Rifugio Presena. If anything goes wrong, do not expect fair treatment or accountability. Their lack of transparency and unwillingness to provide a reasonable resolution has left me deeply disappointed.
Would I return? Absolutely not. You’d be better off choosing another place where you can sit comfortably and enjoy an espresso—perhaps even with a complimentary treat! I hope they rethink their approach to customer service before more guests have to endure the same experience.

Salary seat!
The place doesn't need many words, it's just lovely. Friendly and disposable staff and staff. Also good dinner (good selection of wines) and breakfast. Very nice spa.
SKY ROOM: we slept here and I must say it is definitely worth it. A breathtaking view both at night and dawn in the morning .. only negative note ... cold. Under the duvet it is fine (electric heater) but the air stove that is inside, in addition to being very noisy you can not keep it on all night because it dries the air and you can not breathe ... they should find another way to heat ...
Inside there is a small toilet, so there is no need to leave the room.
But still I repeat, at least once is to try!
