Hotel in the heart of fabulous center

A few minutes walk from the train station and 200 meters from Piazza Baracca and the medieval Fortress. Staff very kind and extremely available. They also provide laundry service for a fee. You can receive room service at an additional cost, beard kit or daily toothbrush kit free. It has rooms on two large floors reached by a comfortable elevator. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on the ground floor. Equipped with private parking at an additional cost of € 5.00, but also municipal parking with paid stalls. Near the hotel there is a stall for loading/unloading suitcases. The staff was extremely helpful to take us and pick us up twice a day from the Maria Cecilia Hospital. On the ground floor, where there is private parking, there is a healthy fitness whose use does not involve additional costs. On the second floor some rooms have doors signed by famous people who have stayed in the structure. We happened to have the room signed by C. De Sica. International and hearty breakfast. Nothing to object to.

a very pleasant surprise and unexpected

Discovered by chance, but I don't let it escape anymore, on arrival Gio' welcomes us with his smile and his precious information, he advised us, among other things, to take for dinner the cappelletti made by them... then revealed exceptional... The room, nice, comfortable, kettle, espresso machine, fridge... The dinner, in fact, exceptional starting from the cappelletti and to follow other delicacies... Elio then in the room for 52 years gave us other tips on the territory. Also the breakfast excellent and plentiful... what more could you ask for?... Besides it is a strategic base to visit the area, already Lugo itself with its churches, in particular St. Francis of Paola, amazing, the Baracca museum, the Rossini house museum. Then half an hour by train from Ravenna with its mosaics, do not miss them!.. a tip, book the guided tour: with 30 euros visit 5 sites with 3 hours of explanation!! Half an hour from Bologna, another city not to be missed. And wanting to change by train to Castel Bolognese and then Faenza (the ceramics of her museum, until early June with the temporary exhibition of Ginori, exceptional) and then continue with Forlì (and its exhibition until June on the Baroque)... Disturbed sleep

I stayed one night in this hotel with my family, I vote positive for the staff , breakfast and restaurant , unfortunately I have to give a negative vote for the night rest. We were allocated two rooms in a new wing of the hotel where the mini bar, hanging on a wall of the room, made an unbearable noise all night and the walls between the rooms and the external windows and windows did not guarantee isolation from the noise of other guests and external street noise. Too bad!

Nice staff , rooms great...parking in the yard for 10/night .... The restaurant a bit overpriced and very tried but not really convincing! At best mediocre... unfortunately
