Excellent solution in the center of Mantua

Despite being a 3-star hotel, the location, the hospitality, but above all the value for money is truly interesting. A bit hot because the AC unit is a bit small for the size of the room, but overall a very positive judgment

Unbeatable location and kind staff, but several details need improvement.

One-night stay for a couple at the cost of €113. The most positive note is definitely the location: very central and just steps away from all the main points of interest. The courtesy and availability of the staff were also greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, there are several aspects to review. The room was a bit small, and the curtains definitely need refreshing. Moreover, for the amount paid, the absence of a kettle in the room to prepare tea or herbal tea in the evening is felt.
A downside for acoustic comfort: our room was in front of the elevator, and we could hear all the noises from the hallway. Finally, I note that the shared bathroom near the reception (on level -1) had a toilet that was leaking water, and unfortunately, there was a strong smell of urine. There is potential, but at the moment, improvements can and must be made.

Very negative experience

We stayed the night of May 30th. Small room and the bathroom sink was broken. We thought we had a view of the square, but instead it was an internal room with the noise of the air conditioning unit that kept us from sleeping! (Room No. 141) We spent 180 euros! We tried to ask for a room change, and the only alternative was an even smaller room on the second floor with a window completely blocked by a dark curtain, claustrophobic to say the least! Plus, when we left our luggage the next day to continue our visit of the city, we were told that if we left our luggage after 1 PM, we would have to pay an additional fee of 5 euros... this has never happened in any hotel before. It's a shame because the location is excellent. Breakfast was nothing special, but the breakfast room was beautiful as it is located in the 4-star Ca' degli Uberti.
Before booking, make sure of the type of room being offered, as the cost does not match the offer.

Ci dispiace leggere questa recensione che troviamo fuori luogo, soprattutto poiché i sanitari erano in condizioni standard. Inoltre, abbiamo fatto la cortesia di farvi vedere un'altra unità per venirvi incontro. Le ricordiamo che le tariffe sono variabili a seconda del periodo e della tipologia di camera richiesta.

Excellent stay

I spent a few days in Mantova on vacation and was captivated by the city. Kudos to the establishment where I stayed, excellent location and breathtaking view of Piazza Sordello, abundant breakfast in frescoed rooms, and excellent cleanliness of the room.
I thank the staff, especially Miss Emma, who provided me with very useful information

Sweet and sour experience

Let's start with the negatives: we needed the fridge to fit a tray of fresh tortelli. The fridge in the room was, for reasons of space, small and we turned to the receptionists, who guaranteed us the storage of the tray in the fridge available to the hotel. Well, it's been forgotten behind their backs. They had put it there provisionally and when we returned, almost three hours later, we found it still in the same place without anyone having put it in the fridge.
The bathroom is a bit uncomfortable and uncomfortable: too small with a bidet that for a person over 6'10" tall is problematic to use it properly. Breakfast, although satisfactory, is served in a room a few meters away and 'need to go out and then enter the adjacent building whose dining room and 'of extraordinary beauty, much more than the breakfast itself.
Splendid though 'the view of the Piazza Ducale and the location of the hotel in the center and reachable in just 15 minutes walk from the parking on the long Mincio (for a fee)

In merito al vostro vassoio, sicuramente c'è stato un misunderstanding, anche perché non è disponibile un frigorifero presso la Reception, ma ci si deve recare presso un altro locale.
Speriamo ci sia un'altra occasione di avervi come nostri ospiti, che ci sembra comunque positiva al netto del pacco.
