A convenient property, but suitable above all for short stays
I chose Hotel Santa Rosalia mainly for its excellent location: it is located near the center of Marina di Camerota and, above all, a short distance from Calanca beach. For those who want to have everything at their fingertips, this is certainly one of the best features of the property.
Another strong point is the staff, whom I found kind, helpful, and always ready to meet the needs of the guests.
As for the property, however, my impression was quite different. In my opinion, it needs a major modernization. The room was simple and equipped with the essentials, but the decor seemed rather dated and some elements, such as the curtains, seemed inadequate to me by current standards. My room, moreover, overlooked a closed terrace and had what I would define more as a small outdoor space than a real balcony: about one meter by one meter.
Breakfast, too, in my judgment, reflects this approach: there are the essentials, but nothing particularly well-cared-for or memorable. The selection seemed rather commercial to me and without any elements of particular excellence.
Very positive, on the other hand, is the parking, which represents a real advantage: it is large, convenient, and spacious, which is not negligible, especially in a tourist destination like Marina di Camerota.
Overall, I award 2 stars, mainly because I consider the property's two real strengths to be: the location and the parking, to which I would add the kindness of the staff. For the rest, I believe that there are several shortcomings and that the property needs a renovation.
Having said that, I do not completely advise against the hotel. On the contrary, I would consider it for a very short stay, of one or at most two nights, especially for those who prioritize the location and the convenience of the parking. For longer stays, however, in my opinion the shortcomings of the property become more evident and can end up negatively affecting the overall experience.

Most importantly, the reception and all people working at the hotel, they are all very nice, polite and caring.
That was my first time traveled alone and this hotel with a fantastic view from my balcony and kind warm people took care of me made my solo-travel just perfect.
They taking care of you all the time. Most nice hotel and kind personal stuff.
Amazing memory. The hotel is very close like 300 meter to the sunny sandy beach and also in the middle of center of the city.
You will never regret it if you chose this hotel.
My special thanks to Egidio and Giovani De Vita and Federico... and many others who works there very hard to making the most pleasant journey for me and you ...
