Very special experience with a group of 10 friends visiting this beautiful family owned Masseria.

Our group of friends had a very interesting tour of this beautiful family owned and operated Masseria which includes a very extensive dairy breeding farm with over 400 cows, a B&B with three lovely apartments, a bakery, a cheese factory, an ancient family chapel, and restored trulli. We toured all areas of the dairy farm and cheese making operation, to include the fields where the cows graze and the largest donkey in Puglia lives! We saw the consecrated family chapel which contains the relics of patron saints and beautiful frescoes on the walls. We visited the bakery with wood fired ovens and all 10 o us participated in making 3 different shapes of pasta by hand. We then enjoyed a very plentiful and delicious lunch featuring typical meats, focaccia, tarralli, red and white wine, and several of the fresh and aged cheeses produced on the farm. They included caciocavallo, mozzarella, ricotta, burrata, and stracciatella. We even had a bowl of the pasta we created with fresh tomato sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our guide for this special experience was very knowledgeable, fun, and welcoming.

Disappointing experience

We had lunch at this farm with great expectations, unfortunately completely disappointed. The dining room is anything but welcoming: more than a rustic and well-kept environment, it looked like a canteen. Cold atmosphere, anonymous table arrangement and not at all in line with the idea of a farm that one expects. The decor also left much to be desired: questionable colors and decidedly ugly curtains, which made the environment even less pleasant. The service was the most negative point of the experience. Disorganized, superficial and careless. The most serious episode was when a waiter hit the face of a little girl with a tray. What was most striking was the total lack of excuses or attention to the little girl and the family. Unacceptable behaviour, which shows a lack of professionalism and sensitivity.

Lunch of the Epiphany

Today day of the epiphany we booked in this farm was a pleasant discovery nice place clean, well cared for and attentive to various intolerances
Despite set menu we ate very well polite and professional staff we also visited the stables also very clean, in short it was a beautiful experience recommend to all this farm

Disappointing and overrated farmhouse

We spent the New Year with friends in this very disappointing structure... Soundproof room, terrible music .. Set menu with poor food and the first "gourmet" quite similar to precooked risotto packaged .. The second disgusting... Experience not to be repeated definitely!

Disappointment

On the location I can not make judgments as there was no time to visit it... unfortunately I can only say I'm disappointed for the organization... considering that we were celebrating the New Year's Eve and not si.pu'absolutely serve the sparkling wine at midnight and then continue to serve the main courses .. among other things in bad taste.
..moral of the story....a very negative experience.
