Nice hotel but disrespectful guests

Nice hotel , the rooms are spacious and pleasant,.
The breakfast is very good with beautiful views of the pool. .
The staff is friendly and pleasant.
The only downside is the sound of chatter, the screams before the door of the reception of customers around midnight and rebel at 6 am.
Great for rest.
We will trace this back to our travel agency.

Not as I expected.

Hotel in a good location, the rooms are nice with a beautiful view, friendly staff, the rooms are clean but with issues like the bed not being properly made as if someone had just laid on it, the towels were for one person instead of two, after mentioning it, the lady at the front desk explained that the laundry had not delivered (then do not rent the room), after a search, another towel for the shower was found and that was it, regarding the restaurant there was not much choice on the menu, the food was average, they could do better, the waiter was very kind.

We were locked in at the hotel.

What we experienced was in no way acceptable for a supposedly 4-star hotel and left an overall impression of significant organizational negligence. Especially in a house of this category, one should expect reliable organization, an occupied reception, functioning guest services, and a professional process even in the early morning hours.
Already upon arrival, the room for two people was not adequately equipped with towels. The balcony was practically unusable due to a strong smell of fryer. Ventilation was also not possible, as the smell immediately entered the room. Additionally, the room was very dark overall because the view was directly onto a wall, and hardly any daylight entered the room.
The hotel pool was also only usable during our stay amidst significant construction noise. Relaxed use or recovery was hardly possible under these circumstances.
However, the situation was particularly severe at the time of our departure. We had already announced the evening before that we needed to leave the hotel very early and required a taxi to the port at 5:30 AM. When that time came, the door was locked, the reception was unstaffed, and we had to search the entire hotel for personnel. We were locked in. Such a condition is not only completely unacceptable for a 4-star hotel, but also dangerous, considering a medical emergency or fire hazard. There was no way to leave the hotel. In fact, this should be reported to the authorities.
Only through loud banging on the window near the breakfast room did a staff member become aware of us.
Instead of organizing the taxi immediately, the checkout was leisurely completed first, and the tourist tax was collected. Only then was the door opened. Only afterwards was a taxi even called. The handling of the taxi itself was also unacceptable: For a ride of only about five minutes, 30 € was initially demanded. Since there was no immediately suitable cash available, we were told to exchange money by buying a coffee first. After this proved impractical due to the long line, the driver finally reduced the price to 20 € after an alleged conversation with the 'boss'. He must have misunderstood the price. Such an approach is neither transparent nor reputable.
This overall picture does not reflect minor inconveniences, but rather a fundamentally poor organization of the establishment. A 4-star hotel must be able to ensure a professional and smooth process even with early departures, guest requests, and external service providers.
The stay will remain in our memory as an absolute disaster for a long time.
We complained afterwards and demanded compensation. We were offered a 10% discount on our next stay. No punchline.
I advise against staying here.
