A strategic and comfortable B&B

A small B&B, clean and well run by 2 enterprising and helpful girls, spacious and comfortable rooms, great bed.
Good breakfast, nothing is missing.
Strategic location, 12 minutes from the old town and the old port, 8/10 min from the sea.
I'll be back.

Disappointing in every aspect.

Disappointing experience and little attention to the customer.
Unfortunately, the stay did not live up to expectations. The room is not cleaned daily and, for a facility that hosts people for several days, I consider this a serious shortcoming.
Furthermore, I found the host's attitude rather arrogant and not very open to dialogue, which made the experience even more unpleasant. When you pay for a stay, you expect not only an adequate facility, but also courtesy, availability, and attention to the customer.
Overall, a negative experience and unsatisfactory value for money. I would not return.

I stayed for the weekend of June 2nd at the B&B Il Picchio. I will start with the positive aspects: the room was well cleaned and welcoming, and the breakfast was quite satisfactory. Negative notes: check-in by 11 AM; if you arrive from far away and beyond the allowed time, they will not give you the room, which still needs to be paid for. During my stay, my room was not cleaned, nor was the bed made. I had to pay in cash because for two days, according to them, the card machine was not working. But the most irritating thing was the rudeness and indifference of one of the two receptionists. I will never return to this establishment.

Booking cancelled a week before

I should have gone to Monopoly. And stay at this property, too bad that the week before I was notified that for a problem you booking had no availability and my reservation was canceled. Of course I have inserted the free cancellation (and we would miss the opposite) but find yourself 5 days before leaving without accommodation is not pleasant. And of course I didn't find other solutions (affordable at least: having already booked months before, in the last minute the prices were definitely higher)

Great stay, everything perfect

Great B&B in the center of Monopoli, a few minutes walk from the sea and the historic center.
For those who want to get away to the beaches of Capitolo the bus stop is right outside the structure.
We stayed in the suite, beautiful, spacious and equipped.
New structure and well maintained.
Cleanliness of the rooms impeccable
Nearby various shops.
Thanks to the two girls, Paola and Paola, who were kind and helpful throughout.
