Lovely, typically, great view & perfect host
The pallazo is a jewel behind a typically Sicillian backyard. Inside it turns into a really spacious and very well equipped place. There are only two bedrooms, which gives you lots of privacy and makes you feeling at home. The living room is big and stylish, the terrace is extraordinary nice! You have plenty of room and the perfect view throughout the whole valley and Palermo. We loved sitting outside and have a wonderful breakfast. The host is incredibly friendly and makes your stay really perfect. He is a warm and clever guy, who gives you best advice. He brought us to a doctor bevause of an infection - thanks again! It was living at your family. Thank you so much!
Near the house is the incredible cathedral of Monreale - a MUST see. By bus you can reach Palermo downtown in 20 minutes. We recommend staying here in this great pallazo!

Without fault
Quite simply one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in. Difficult to park the car but sorted out by Paolo, who guided us to a private car park. (Not sure we knew about the 8 euro daily charge but hey ...). Building full of character, tastefully modernised (so all mod cons!) and the view from the bedroom & terrace is superb. Delightful breakfast, very, very tasty & more than we could eat. Slight edge taken off a perfect stay when Paolo & his wife tried to sell us some souvenirs ...

Heaven on Earth
Palazzo Cuto - Paolo La Bruna
Visiting Palazzo Cuto was an unforgettable experience. Located in the heart of Monreale, Palazzo Cuto is truly a gem. The BnB has one of the most breathtaking views of Palermo. Walk into the courtyard porch area and you almost seem to walk into a painting. Your eyes are met with a 180 degree panoramic view of mountains gently sloping to the coastline and the city of Palermo. It is majestic.
Visit the common areas and you know that the proprietors have both an artistic eye and an artistic soul. This is no perfunctory display of local items to remind you that you are on vacation. These rooms are like small museums combining paintings, sculpture, photography, and family possessions. Paolo and Maria have spent their lives in Monreale. Their family history includes relatives who once crafted fine furniture, including the chairs still in use at the Duomo up the hill. The common areas a filled with the family's ancient woodworking tools presented with a curator's skill.
Breakfasts with Paolo are a cut above anything we have ever experienced. He presents you with a series of items drawn from local produce and local traditions. You start your day with this feast while watching the sun rise over the valley. If you are lucky, you will be able to dine one evening on the courtyard porch area and experience Maria's culinary skills and passion for the local cuisine. We were introduced to pasta alla sarda and two secondo piatto with different presentations of local tuna. This experience far surpassed any dinner at a local restaurant.
Paolo and Maria are passionate about ensuring that you have a great experience. They did not tell us when meals were served, they asked when we preferred to eat. When we left very early on the final day to catch a plane, they were up ahead of us with coffee and a full breakfast to get us on our way to the airport.
Three kilometers from Palermo and just a two minute walk to Monreale's Duomo, the location couldn't be better. The Duomo is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen and you recognize why it is a UNESCO heritage site.
We left our hearts at Palazzo Cuto. One day soon we will return to reclaim them. Ancora Mille Grazie, con affetto Sissi e Craig

Fantastic
Absolutely beautiful location. A quiet street behind and below the Duomo. Fantastic patio overlooking the valley to Palermo. Lovely quiet and cool bedrooms and shower rooms are fine. Lovely local breakfast served on the terrace. Paulo looked after us very well. We left our luggage whilst we did some sightseeing and he arranged a local taxi back to the station. Such good value for money too. Do go!

Una terrazza che vale una visita
Alloggio perfetto, collocato nel centro storico di Monreale. Grazie al comodo parcheggio a poca distanza, rende facile l'arrivo anche per il viaggiatore che vi giunge per la prima volta. L'alloggio è realmente collocato in uno storico palazzo del centro, "abbracciando" sin da subito l'ospite con l'atmosfera del posto. Il fiore all'occhiello è poi la splendida terrazza, a disposizione degli ospiti, in cui è possibile rilassarsi e godere della splendida vista su Palermo e il mare, di giorno e di notte, nonché consumare la fantastica colazione.
