Peace and quiet

Just north of Monte Corrice on the top of a mountain is this very cute/handsome field stone home with pretty grounds for those who want some peace and quiet. The place is exquisite. The food is out of this world. Breakfast is included and you can pay 27 per person for a gourmet dinner overlooking two views of the sea and the mountains in between. A cute little cat and some local fox grace the territory. It is warm during the day so it is good for sunbathing or hiking the road if you prefer. But mostly it’s a place of peace and quiet beautiful outstanding sunsets cool evenings hot days.
The rooms are spacious with amazing views. The double beds are very comfortable and the Air Conditioning works great in the rooms; The owners are very organized and very kind and once again the food preparation is amazing.
Favorite dessert was the chocolate tart-warm

Crushing disappointment

I had asked for advice on an excellent farmhouse near Acciaroli, it was recommended to me. I was sure that everything would go in the right direction and instead, just to get there the road was narrow, dark and very steep without any indication, activated at the destination, I must say that the view and the panorama were splendid, but, alas, it was the only positive note of an evening to forget
We sat at the table and expected a paper menu or a QR code, but instead the dishes (few) were offered to us by a not very friendly waiter. The portions, presented as if it were a starred restaurant, were miserable, almost imperceptible and anonymous, the taste was just enough to satisfy the palate, the dishes were brought without grace and without any knowledge of how to serve at the table. But the surprise was the bill, on a non-fiscal receipt and nothing short of stratospheric.
Presented as a typical local farmhouse, it turned out to be the worst restaurant with "Masterchef" presumption. Not only did he not give us the change we were due at the time of automatic payment as if the tip was a given. Not only did I make a terrible impression on my family because I proposed it, but I think it was the worst experience I've ever had in this field, I definitely don't recommend it.

I will never go back again

Strongly impressed by the Tibetan climbing necessary to reach the restaurant where even an expert mountain roe deer would have found himself in enormous difficulty: impervious, narrow and dark road with an absurd slope and without any indication (even the navigator was left speechless!). Menu non-existent in both paper and electronic form but entrusted to an impatient waiter to say the least... Food of decent quality but in absolutely ridiculous quantities. The bill, however, is worthy of note: an absolutely unjustified blow and its presentation on a non-fiscal sheet of paper is uncommentable . Nice view but nothing else.

Non-farmhouse cuisine

Nice place, hard to get to. Non-farmhouse cuisine, which poses as gourmet but is not in terms of flavours. Meager portions and little variety. Unsatisfactory quality/price. We were quite disappointed.

A spectacular view

A special place, with a few rooms, for those who are seeking tranquillity and a spectacular view. It is a simple, but tasteful place, located on top of a highland overlooking the sea at a distance and various villages, including Castellabate. We spent only one night here and did not have dinner (we should have, and regretted it), but we enjoyed our stay and our breakfast on a wonderful terrace. We will certainly come back and spend more time.
