Magnificent property
Very nice cottage, we stayed there as a family for a week. It was simply great! Very welcoming, helpful and smiling hosts. Magnificent property surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The restaurant run by the owners offers typical dishes of very good quality! Everything was perfect. We will return!

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE ANIMALS HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL DOGS BUT SO MUCH AGGRESSIVE WITH DOGS!!
I'm not used to review negatively and if I can avoid doing so, but I would like to protect the animals in my small and say that the attitude of the owner was embarrassing (to be kind) we stayed 3 nights and before booking I phoned to know if they accepted dogs, the lady answers me saying yes and that she also had two dogs, I asked her if it was a problem and she told me that the dogs were tied with a 20-meter long rope and that if I had taken the apartment at the bottom in front of the pool they would NEVER meet because his dogs do not get there, well SO IT WAS NOT! Every time we went out and entered we had to notify, which I had not been told by phone (madness always have to say all our movements) and we were told that if the ropes were closed inside the door of the restaurant meant that the dogs were closed and tied... When we returned the DOGS were UNTIED! we found them on the stairs leading to the pool where our apartment was, they bit my dog and did not come off in any way (my dog is good and did not bite them in the least) the owner arrived because we were screaming and took off his dogs, needless to say that MY DOG BLEED FROM THE THIGH AND WAS SCARED AND WAS A SIMILAR MAREMMAN SO IT IS NOT A SMALL SIZE! HE'S GOT HOLES IN HIS THIGH AND SCRATCHES FROM HIS NAILS AND TEETH IN HIS INNER THIGH! The owner apart from the joke "I didn't think you were coming back so soon and so I untied them" was very kind he accompanied us to the veterinarian, he apologized several times and you could see that he was really sorry for my dog, he wanted to pay for the visit even if cmq we have to bring him back here in 5 days and see how he is... So little changes, but we don't care about the money it's amazing that I pay to stay in a place OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and I find my dog so because you can not handle their dogs.
The next morning we meet (unfortunately) the lady who asks us how the dog is, I reply that she is not well because she is afraid to leave the apartment she replies IT IS NORMAL, I tell her that it is not normal to come to the holiday and find the dog with stitches, injured and full of wounds and holes on the thigh and she replies to me OKAY IT IS ONLY A POINT! I kindly replied if it seemed normal to pay and come to a place to be quiet and go home with the dog in these conditions since she had assured me by phone that they would not meet, she told me THAT THE BLAME IS OURS BECAUSE I WAS LEASHING MY DOG AND THAT THEREFORE HER DOGS SAW IT IN PASSIVE AND FELT ENTITLED TO ATTACK! That is, we are in absolute madness! In civilization it works that if there are other dogs, ALL dogs should be kept on a leash just to protect them! I just wanted to leave and I told her that it is not absolutely normal something like this and she was worried that I would press charges instead of knowing how my dog was really, really a shame, certainly it is not the 40 € discount that solve, I PAY 300 € A FACILITY, I ASK IF IT IS SECURED FOR MY DOG, I AM ANSWERED YES AND THEN I FIND THE UNTIED AGGRESSIVE DOGS THAT BITE MY DOG, ARE YOU JOKING??? IT SEEMS NORMAL THAT NOW I HAVE TO GIVE 7 PADS A DAY TO MY DOG AND SEE IT INSTANTLY TO NOT MAKE IT SUFFER JUST FOR BEING ON HOLIDAY???Madam there are certain times in life when you should just be silent and unfortunately she did not, it was the least to be seen as sorry, I would have been so ashamed in her place, that she tells me she is sorry and then inquires about the complaint and tells me that it is normal and that she belittles saying that it is just a point was really disrespectful, fortunately her husband is not like that! Never again for charity!We do not care about money and I am sorry that she was not sincere from the beginning... It tears our hearts to see our dog like this

Critical Review – “Waiting on the Farmyard”: A Disappointing and Poorly Organized Initiative
Drawn by the article in La Nazione that promoted the "Vilgi sull'aia" as an authentic peasant experience, we found ourselves instead living a deeply disappointing evening. The event, organized by the Municipality of Montespertoli in collaboration with the Villa Vacanze Manetti farm, turned out to be a shabby and ill-conceived version of what had been advertised.
No farmyards, no folklore entertainment, no outdoor convivial atmosphere. Just a banal indoor dinner in any restaurant room, with a set menu (€25 each) mediocre: cold cuts with ficattole, a mixed grill accompanied by frozen chips and, as dessert, the option of cantuccini or ice cream – nothing homemade. Two salads promised and never arrived, but we were already sated with disappointment.
The owner, although kind, admitted without hesitation that the initiative is now a failure: after the first year, in which she had invested in artists and shows, today the City limits itself to printing leaflets, leaving exhibitors with the burden (and the lack of desire) to organize something. Result? A sad mise-en-scène, where the private takes advantage of misleading advertising to attract unsuspecting customers, without offering the promised experience.
50€ wasted for an evening that we could have spent better in any trattoria. If the city really wants to enhance the territory, it should stop with these improvised initiatives and misleading leaflets. We, meanwhile, keep the anger of having believed in a false advertisement and the certainty of never coming back.
Vote: 2/10 – Only because the food was at least edible.

Disappointed
I never wanted to write a negative review, but unfortunately this time I have to
We have stayed several times at the property for overnight stays only (with arrival late in the evening and departure early in the morning) and we have never had any problems but last night on our arrival we were greeted by the owner and two large dogs that the lady could not manage (a friend who was with us had to intervene to help her) so much so that they jumped onto our car scratching the side with their nails.
When we got to the room we asked for the air conditioning remote control and were told that it wasn't working.
This morning we reported the damage suffered and it was questioned, and even in a somewhat arrogant manner, that the owner's dogs had done it.
In short, a short stay, very short, but really unpleasant not so much for the scratched car but for the very unfriendly attitude of the owner... and to think that at least 5/6 times a year we stayed there!!!!

Terrifying
The photos on the site give a wonderful idea of the location, the reality is very different. The arrival route is similar to the Paris Dakar, 2 access roads completely destroyed and with impressive and dangerous potholes for the car. Upon arrival you immediately notice a scruffy and abandoned hall, 2 wonderful and affectionate dogs and the 2 owners, I presume, kind and welcoming. Upon arrival in the room the man points out to us that the coldest room was given to me and my friend, in total we were 6 people, radiators off, 10 February 10 February 10 February PDMLN x all night, an air conditioner that emanates the same heat that a summer fan releases, they provide us with a heater which, when you insert the plug, causes the electricity to go off in the entire structure, twice in half an hour, so to warm up the only way is to give fire in the wardrobe in the room. Unwatchable bathroom, without an outlet for drying hair or shaving, shower in which if you are over 10 years old it is impossible to wash, impossible, and to conclude during our absence in the evening, someone enters the room to take away the heater delivered to keep us warm . .. we are told that we are out of season, (what does that mean?? Then stay closed) that the voltage of the structure is first 30kw, after 15 minutes 25kw, so even the owners are a bit confused. One had the impression of being a nuisance of being an extra burden at 85 euros a night, practically an armed robbery. The breakfast that was requested on the evening of February 10th for 2 people at 8 am on the 11th, magically disappears because there was no time to prepare things, not to mention the irrelevant price of 15 Eur per head. . Damn me if he says where I come from. IN CONCLUSION IT IS INCREDIBLE TO HAVE A FERRARI IN YOUR HAND AND TO THINK OF GETTING OUT OF IT BY PUSHING IT BY HAND.....ATIUOOOOOOOOO A total disaster never seen even in my two years of work in China, traveling far and wide.
