A historic and beautiful hotel facing the bay of Naples and the Vesuvio volcano

This great hotel, overlooking the Bay of Naples and the Vesuvius Volcano, in the beatiful
Santa Lucia neighborhood, is a wonderful base for exploring and enjoying the beautiful Napoli! It's a short walking distance to the historic city center, offering unique views of the bay and adjoining areas. The staff is very attentive, and in particular, Rita and the rest of the excellent team at the Concierge station, go out of their way to help plan the visit, prior to and during the stay at the hotel, from restaurant and transportation to San Carlo Opera House tickets, as well as to arranging visits to Pompeii and the coastal towns, The decor of the hotel, the room and its views of the sea, the breakfast and the restaurants, are all wonderful and unmatched. A great place to stay!! We will be back!

Overpriced and adequate only

Overpriced hotel. Skyline views Adequate service. There is not much around that is open, sizable construction area around the hotel. For an early dinner it was suggestion to walk around the area to find something, in an area that is mostly closed up and under construction. The one restaurant nearby was horrible. The sky lounge had small plates starting 25-30 euro for cheese.
Be sure your travel plans are solid, refunds are not considered regardless of emergency or travel disruptions.

RUDE STAFF

Had a reservation for the roof top bar Caruso, walked in to a rude gentleman just saying FULL
Needless to say we left, personally don’t care about loosing the deposit
I WILL NOT be spoken down to and upon returning would never book this hotel due to this experience
No need for rudeness

we are sorry for your bad experience and apologize for any unfriendlu attitude shown by any colleague.
Anyway, we have to point out that Caruso is a restaurant, not a bar, and online reservation is mandatory.
Guests having confirmed reservation always have access to their table.
On top floor we have a bar - Sky Lounge - and reservation are never allowed since our guests have no time limitation during their drinking experience.
For Sky Lounge only upon arrival guests know if tables are available and no depist is due as there is no online or onsite reservation procedure.
Nontheless, we do apologize for rude attitude you complain of, we must always be polite even more when we are not able to meet a guest's request.

Unique experience

Splendid luxury hotel, room on the 7th floor with a small terrace and breathtaking view of the Castle and the gulf. High-quality breakfast with a wide selection of local products explained by the Maitre d', small table with a view.
