Hotel Nocturnes

Great hotel
Top hotel. Breakfast buffet 1a. Half board only recommended. Daily super delicious 4-course menu. Great staff, you almost feel at home here. Indoor pool and jakuzi can be used all day. Sauna is also available. Nice terrace and sunbathing area. Very dog friendly hotel. Dogs are allowed for breakfast and dinner in a "separate" room, you will not find anywhere else. Top !!!

More appearances than being
The so-called suite "Schwalbennest" WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING are just two of the rooms in the old building that have been merged. The bedroom is completely loveless and spartan except for the comfortable bed. Instead of bedside tables two metal tables, not a single drawer or furniture with such in the entire bedroom. In front of the bed a completely naked wall with the old TV connections, no picture, nothing.
In the next room a crazy noisy mini fridge directly on the sideboard, ergo a nice acoustic amplifier. To connect the kettle, the plug had to be removed from the fridge instead of simply plugging in a multi-box. No indirect light, only a ceiling light, ergo a "nightstand" - lamp was repurposed by us. The furniture loosely 20 years old, absolutely no style, everything thrown together and that for a suite....
Two balconies, which are connected by a completely superfluous plank wall to unfold. Without it you would have got a much more valuable impression. Only on one of the two balconies two chairs and table, just a single footstool. The other balcony completely empty.
Breakfast: Good offer, abundant selection of local products. Extremely strange and sometimes questionable were meat parts of the dinner of the previous evening (piccata and cordon bleu) , which just appeared after 48 hours on the breakfast buffet.
Dinner: Average cooking skills, sometimes barely edible and technically incomprehensible (e.g. French Onion soup was a pamp of leeks and onions, rather sweet, disgusting), meat in general of good quality. Appetizers/salad buffet without noticeable variety within 11 days, strange textures and smells when fish there. The crowning glory was the everyday carpaccio and/or roast beef, which was placed in front of the hot outer pane in the sun more than half an hour before the start and already looked like you had to put it in the organic bin at 19.15, sometimes apart from the warmth and raw meat and the unchilled one.
Personnel: Partly friendly, partly completely unfriendly staff at breakfast, especially a guy from the Pakistani/Indian area, who every morning is completely devoured and with a disgustingly unsympathetic manner with a colleague the constantly trailing kitchen serving trolley to bursting full, the of course thumping and loud. Really wonderful such a thing in the morning and generally, how can you not see and correct such a thing as a guide!
All in all okay, next time guaranteed not.

Nice holiday with not so nice accommodation
My boyfriend and I, together with my grandparents, stayed 10 days at the hotel. Pros:
+the location was very nice, good views with mountain views
+there was a nice wellness area with sauna, indoor and outdoor pool and Jacuzzi
+Rooms were clean on arrival, cleaning during the stay was just unfortunately not so thorough
+friendly reception at the reception
+Breakfast was very good (sometimes some regional fruit was still missing, were there for apple season, but there was none)
Cons:
-Owner very distant and partly unfriendly, no excuse if something was forgotten, staff in the evening at dinner generally unfriendly, no smile (except for a very nimble waiter)
-untrained staff, nobody could answer questions about allergens correctly and for me as a nut allergy sufferer it was sometimes a high risk....
-the allergens were also not marked anywhere else, nothing was on the menu
-with the 4 course menu often things were not on the menu that came with (e.g. Wirsing in the bean soup, seafood with the tortellini although nothing was there) for allergy sufferers or if you are not that is not so nice, therefore also food waste
-Sundays there was a fixed menu, our attempt to cancel the course we didn't want to eat failed, we should say that the evening before it comes. In the end it came unasked and we let it go back and probably then they threw it away, hurt my soul...
- sometimes long waits for the courses, you had to be there between 7 and 7:30 p.m. there were no individual meal times, it was always waited when serving until the last course was ready with the starter, then came the next course. We had waiting times between courses of 30 to 50 minutes and were often not finished with food for less than 2 hours. Replacement food, when there was nothing for one, was only little and only on direct demand.
-tastefully the food also took some getting used to, not as we know it from South Tyrol (cream soups consisted of water), also there were sometimes very small portions
-the packed lunch we got for the return trip was very nice but laughable, there was not even butter on the rolls and very little
-my grandpa had a birthday during our stay, I was assured at the reception that the table will be set a bit in the evening (which was also very nice) and there is prosecco at the expense of the house. This stood when I got the invoice on the day of departure for 4 glasses 22 euros... disappointing
-generally very expensive, price-performance was absolutely wrong for me
-the rooms were old (were in the old building) worn furniture, while showering I often had to wait 15 min for warm water, mold in the shower, broken window
-the beds were told it was a new mattress, if you looked at them, they were totally slack and in the middle was a real cow.. I had back pain every day and therefore often bad mood because you could not sleep properly
-child friendly the hotel is also not. Children are only allowed in the pool from 14 years old, but is nowhere, only in the hotel very small... generally very poor description on the website.
All in all it was a nice holiday but the money for the accommodation I could have invested differently and I am not used to South Tyrol like that...

Faulty towers - never again
We arrived and the hotel has a very small car park. As we checked in we were told we had u til 7.30 to have dinner despite it being 7.10 checking in , we were then given a choice of meals for dinner which was included, none sounded good but we all choose food , changed and came to dinner. The rest of the residents seemed to eyeball us the whole time in the restaurant for some reason?
Cheese dumplings - tasted terrible 1/10
Soups - awful 2/10
Baked chicken - not sure it was even cooked but like rubber and inedible
Meat skewer - what on earth kind of meat was that , we couldn’t eat any of it!
Cheese plate for desert- happy to say nice cheese but the tiny piece of bread was not only hideous but no where near enough for the cheese if it had been eatable.
Staff - very nice
The rooms don’t have air con and even the heaters are on as we arrived making them super heated so we asked for a fan. The man said they don’t do fans but returned with what he called ‘an old man’ and sure it was , full of mould and grime and note usable at all.
The hotel is generally dated in the 1970’s and desperately needs to address what customers need. The food is diabolical and if I could say -26/10 I would .
Huge shout out for the barman who worked hard to try and keep us happy despite having no dinner and boiling in a scorching room.
Sorry to have to write such a negative review but it’s actually this bad ! Hope you can improve .

Excellent experience
Excellent hotel in the center of the town. The spa has a fantastic hydromassage with hot water. Very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food is of excellent quality. Very rich buffet breakfast. Spacious room. Highly recommended!
