A special “Welcome to Sardinia” experience!

My first night in Sardinia was exceptional, in large part due to my experience at the Essenza Hotel. This property is clean, comfortable and modern — excellent in every way. But the true difference maker? The Essenza staff!
Literally every person I met went out of their way to be sure this fresh off the plane, non-Italian speaker felt like he had arrived home! The front desk staff spent considerable time ensuring all of my local logistics questions were answered and also suggested what turned out to be the perfect restaurant for a genuine traditional Sardinian culinary experience (Ristorante Barbagia, outstanding!).
As this was a last-minute trip, I had forgotten that breakfast was included. When inquiring about the availability of coffee in the lobby, I was directed to a beautiful rooftop restaurant where I was made to feel like the most special guest who had ever walked through the doors. Admittedly, my comments my reflects a bit of recency bias, but I do not recall ever having so much attention at a buffet breakfast. The food itself was really very good, an ample variety Sardinian meats, cheeses, porridges, breads and pastries. The big surprise was that every few minutes one of the staff would come to my table carrying a plate for me and saying in Italian what I think translated into “you absolutely have to try this”! Waaayyy more food than I wanted, how could I say “no more” to such wonderful hospitality?
In summary, if you want to feel like family from the moment you arrive at your hotel, this is the place!

Negramaro concert in Golfo Aranci

We stayed for one night; the room was clean, quiet, and private, with a comfortable mattress, a bathroom with a spacious shower, and a strategic hotel location close to the center, with secure parking just 5 minutes away. The highlight of the property is the rich breakfast (the apple pie is delicious) on the fifth floor in a panoramic terrace, with courteous staff ready to meet every guest's request, and a special greeting to the very kind Mrs. Maria Annunziata. Outstanding Stay with an Incredible Staff!

Our stay at L'Essenza Hotel in Olbia was outstanding from start to finish. We visited Sardinia on vacation, and this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way.
The entire staff was warm, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. A special thank you to Federica and Gabriel at the front desk, who were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with recommendations, directions, and anything else we needed. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. That said, every member of the front desk team was courteous and helpful.
The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. The restaurant staff did an amazing job, offering a delicious selection of fresh food while providing attentive, cheerful service that made every morning a great start to the day. We also attended on Father's Day (US), and the restaurant staff, spoiled the kids in every great way, possible!
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Olbia and the beautiful island of Sardinia. A short walk and you're in the heart of everything. Yet removed enough for a quiet evening on the terrace.
Thank you to everyone at L'Essenza for helping make our vacation so memorable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Olbia.

Wonderful!

Immaculate hotel with wonderful service! Cleanliness and location excellent. Gentle staff from beginning to end. I will come back more often without any doubt and indicate with my eyes closed.

Central location, very kind staff, clean, very abundant breakfast, the owner was very kind, very helpful, and courteous, highly recommended for both business and family; we came as a group of four and were treated very, very well
