Great quiet place to stay by the shores of Lake Como

Really liked our short stay at La Spiaggia. We stayed for three nights in the first floor apartment, which was great - lots of space, well-equipped and with a fantastic terrace overlooking the lake.
Owners were friendly and efficient, everything worked, the pool was very decent and it worked as a very effective (and cost-effective) base to explore Lake Como. The quick ferry ride across from Bellagio to Varenna for lunch was our highlight...

6 nights La Spiaggia

We were here with 4 kids (ages 5, 7, 9, 11) and grandparents just second week of June 2015. We had big third floor apartment with 4 bedroom, nice living room, kitchen and great balcony. Master bedroom is very big and nice and there is also private bathroom with tube. Second bed room had 2 single bed, third had double bed and fourth had also 2 single bed. All bedrooms are nice. Kitchen worked very well and balcony is just great with great views to the lake. Only minuses are weak wifi connection and not air conditioning. However place was quite windy in evening times and also some night was rainy so we dont needed air condiotioning. Air temperature was about 25 to 30 C. Pool is great and is same level than this big third floor apartment so its was like our private althought other apartments quest can also use is. That time there was only 2 other people in other apartment. Car parking is also great. Street is just very busy street that goes around the lake but that wasnt problem because we were mostly in our apartment environment and there is fence around it. With car we make trip to other places. About 500m from the villa is boat station where you can go example to the Bellagio and Lecco. There is also little shop and 2 to 3 nice small restaurant and cafe. I can recommend this to the couples and also familys with children because of great pool and nice views. Best Regards Marko

groot appartement, veel privacy, fantastisch uitzicht, privé-plekje aan het meer.

Super vriendelijke uitbaters, groot appartement, met leuk terras en mooi uitzicht op het Comomeer. Netjes verzorgd zwembad, en privé- plek aan het meer.
Rondom het gebouw, verschillende plekjes in de tuin om te relaxen.
Alles aanwezig om te kunnen koken, wel een kleine, doch verzorgde keuken. Wat ook fijn was dat je op eender welk ogenblik in het zwembad kon.
Het privé-plekje aan het strand is echt een meerwaarde.
Je moet wel telkens de straat oversteken, maar dat is bijna rond het hele Comomeer zo.
Een echte aanrader. Let op er is in de onmiddellijke omgeving weinig te doen om te voet te doen.
Wel is er een goed restaurant net aan de overkant met zicht op het meer.
