A beautiful and intense experience.

Romantic atmosphere, spacious and comfortable room, excellent location. You can 'reach the temples of Paestum on foot, also Via Tavernelle where the hotel is located, in the evening is beautiful and very animated. The breakfast, outdoors or under the terrace is excellent, in a pleasant environment, accompanied by the friendliness and friendliness of the owner.

No soundisolation what so very noisy room a specialy at night!!

The whole hotel has zero soundproofing both from the outside of the street and from inside the hotel in the hall. Lots of noise late at night from the hotel bar and from people coming from the vene further away disco. Italians are very noisy after a disco visit until about 3am. Combined with the zero sound insulation makes this sleeping impossible. Breakfast was not available except apparently special treatment for a group of English-speaking tourists who were provided with breakfast outside on the terrace in front of the hotel in the morning. All in all a big disappointment with very much noise in the room, especially at night, and an owner who was more interested in the customers of the bar than those in the hotel.

Dirty!

Dirty hotel, cleaning is not taken care of! Floor full of lint. The bathroom smells like sewage and no towels were left for the bidet, price not adequate for the service.
There is no reception, we left our suitcase and went straight to the excavations so when we noticed it, it was too late.

Pestum a jewel to know stop to sleep you will not regret it.

The perfect stop to see the magnificent temples of Pestum.
It is located on the perimeter wall of the archaeological park of Pestum, in a pedestrian street after 6 pm. Parking is close and cheap.
The location is perfect on the day walk You go to the excavations in the evening you relax eating in one of the many places.
As soon as you enter on hotel you perceive the passion of those who have recovered renovated and furnished the structure.
They welcomed us warmly giving us information and advice... by the way the Guided Tour to the stavi was very interesting, the guide Fiorenza Monzo is good polite helpful and competent.
The big room the new and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast, excellent cappuccino and plentiful. In short, all very well... go to Pestum it is really worth it.

Temple, cappuccino and ciao ...

... after four weeks in Campania we come to the conclusion that Piermatteos cappuccino is probably one of the best ... this includes the great breakfast service
The location of the well maintained hotel next to the temples compensates for the long walk from the train station. The friendly "Ciao" will echo for a long time to come.
