Palermo, start of the trip
We spent one night. Very good reception. We couldn't get the water to heat up to shower and we didn't want to bother because it was late. She was very kind. Breakfast was very good. He was advising us about possible visits. In addition, we told you that from the airport we took a van that cost 8 euros per person. When we get off, we give him 20 euros. He told us that he didn't have money and left. We couldn't even react. He said that we should be careful of this type of fanfare that is very common in Palermo.

Basic accommodation
We booked this B&B mainly for it’s location and secure car parking (€10/day) which we asked for when booking.
Basic accommodation ok for a day or two. Although each room is self contained our bathroom was downstairs. Shower is a bit tiny so may not suit larger guests. WiFi and air con works well but couldn’t find any English speaking channels on the TV.
Light breakfast made up of fruit juice, several bread rolls with various fillings, pastries, yoghurt and tea/ coffee.
Ideal for those arriving by train as it’s right across from the station. Also tram stop round the corner and plenty of buses running from here too. For walkers, it’s just 15 minutes walk to the main attractions and close to the botanical gardens and seafront.

Great location and friendly service
This B&B is 2 minute walk from the train station which is ideal and around 5 minutes from the centre.
Friendly service and a great host. We weren’t able to make it to the breakfast at 8am as we had to leave before, so the hosts gave us a breakfast to take away with us and a Palermo magnet. A nice touch.
Overall I slept well and would recommend for the price. The only downside is having to talk downstairs to the shower/toilet as I have a bad knee but that can’t be helped!

Cominciamo dal vero punto forte di questo B&B: la posizione.
È letteralmente all'uscita dalla Stazione Centrale, si attraversa una strada laterale poco trafficata e si trova l'ingresso.
Ero un po' scettico perché in genere le zone vicino alle stazioni non hanno una buona fama, ma mi sono dovuto ricredere: non ho visto scene di degrado o personaggi equivoci.
Comodissimo quindi in arrivo e in partenza da Palermo, e anche per muoversi all'interno della città, dato che la piazza antistante la stazione è un'importante fermata del trasporto pubblico, con numerose linee di autobus.
Il B&B è inserito in un palazzo d'epoca rimodernato.
Le stanze hanno un mobilio "seminuovo", piuttosto essenziale, il letto è sufficientemente comodo, il bagno piccolo e senza bidet, il televisore, per quello che ho visto, aveva solo canali in chiaro.
La mia stanza era al pianterreno e con finestre che davano sulla strada, ma non l'ho trovata particolarmente rumorosa, e non ho dovuto usare tappi per le orecchie per dormire.
In camera era presente un condizionatore, anche se non l'ho utilizzato perché nel periodo in cui ho soggiornato non faceva caldo.
Ottime e abbondanti le colazioni, con cibi sia dolci che salati, fornite dai proprietari, persone di grande cortesia e disponibilità.
Un B&B con diversi pregi e qualche difetto quindi, ma considerato il buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, 90 € per due notti, mi ritengo soddisfatto.

Très bonne situation pour voyager à Palerme et ailleurs
Ce B&B situé au pied de la gare centrale de Palerme est une aubaine pour les voyageurs.
Les chambres sont propres et dotées de lits Queen size confortables.
La propriétaire qui s'exprime en anglais est accueillante.
Le Wi-Fi fonctionne correctement.
Très peu de chaines disponibles sur le téléviseur, comme à peu près partout sur les 8 hébergements où nous sommes passés dans différentes villes de Sicile.
Mais qu'importe ; lorsque l'on voyage pour faire du tourisme.
Les généreux petits déjeuners sont apportés sur un plateau, sur une table basse dans le salon précédant la chambre et à l'heure souhaitée.
Cet hébergement est un très bon plan pour Palerme si on arrive tard le soir depuis l'aéroport ou si l'on doit prendre un vol tôt le matin, puisque la navette "Prestia e Comandè" (départs chaque demi-heure) et le train sont juste à côté.
Cet hébergement est difficile à trouver, alors qu'il est au pied de la gare centrale. La numérotation anarchique et le fait que les commerçants sur la place ne connaissent pas le B&B G. Cesare rendent la recherche compliquée.
Non seulement la place devant la gare se nomme G. Cesare, mais les rues qui y débouchent sont aussi appelées "Piazza" du même nom !
Pour y remédier, il faut donner les instructions suivantes :
Depuis l'intérieur de la gare, au niveau des fast food "Chef Express - Mokà Cafè" et "Mc Donald", en regardant vers la sortie principale, prendre immédiatement la sortie latérale droite. Traverser la rue jusque sous la rangée d'arbres, continuer sur le trottoir vers la droite pendant une dizaine de mètres. La grande porte du porche en bois foncé et la plaque "B&B Guilio Cesare" indiquent que vous y êtes.
Juste un regret pour la salle d'eau dont la douche est minuscule.
NB : Une autre chambre a aussi une salle d'eau privative, mais à l'étage inférieur. Sa cabine de douche est plus vaste.
Les petits déjeuners copieux, comprenant beaucoup de viennoiseries, contiennent trop de sucre. Mais il en est partout ainsi en Sicile où nous avons été hébergés dans 8 villes différentes.
Impossible d'avoir un croissant nature. Ils sont tous fourrés soit de confiture ; soit de crème sucrée à base de ricotta.
Pas d'édulcorant pour sucrer son café ou son thé.
Cet excès de sucre n'est pas bon pour la santé. Le diabète n'est pas loin.
Inconnu ici : le régime pain, beurre, confiture.
