We Know Why People Keep Going Back!

My sister had stayed here the year before and raved about it. So for my husband's 70th birthday 6 dear family and friends decided it was a way to celebrate. The magic of this place was beyond our expectations! In every way it was an exquisite experience. The tranquil beauty of the grounds and enchantment of the home and guest rooms make it a place you could go to for days, weeks and for me even months. Yet it's also a wonderful base from which to see other parts of Sicily like the Villa Romana. Especially memorable are the absolutely delicious dinners in the charming kitchen sitting at an antique table with people from many countries. Luca the owner is an amazing host. Thank you for making our stay the perfect celebration!

More than just a traditional lovely old Sicilian farmhouse

What a recipe for a life enhancing stay! Not just a traditional lovely old Italian farmhouse accommodation, though it is that too. An idyllic & tranquil location; the most engaging host; great traditional Sicilian food & wine served by yourself and to others from an amazing lazy Susan around a big round table which invites conversations; and a changing group of guests from around the world who are eager to meet, talk and exchange experiences. So convivial & mind broadening. Thank you, Luca, for providing the environment, and all the people we met, for making it such a great experience

Much to improve

Beautiful place surrounded by nature and silence, ideal for relaxing for a few days. Hosts always kind and helpful. Unfortunately, we would not willingly return due to the lack of cleanliness in particular in the shared areas, the rooms and bathrooms not being very comfortable (even if we must take into account the fact that we have chosen a structure of that historical value) and the breakfast not being very rich. and varies. A record-breaking "lazy Susan".

During the visit to the splendid land art installations of "Fiumara d'Arte", we enjoyed the hospitality of Casa Migliaca, an old oil mill transformed today into a house of stone and wood.
A place capable of making the most intimate and noble chords of the rural memory of Southern Italy resonate.
The rooms, equipped with everything you need, are rustically furnished. There is no shortage of authentically antique furniture and furnishings that generate the interest of collectors.
But the most beautiful and rare feature is the enormous circular table, assembled with the stones on which the olives were pressed and surmounted by an equally powerful revolving table on which the food (delicious) and the wine (good) are placed. .
There are up to twenty of us there. Thus dinner, consumed together between guests and owners, is an opportunity to exchange impressions, experiences and advice. And the added value is given by the heterogeneity of the guests and their different origins. At the table we were Italians, Argentines, Danes and Austrians. A beautiful fruit salad, no doubt about it!

Must stop if you look for charm and calm

Lucca is a wonderful host with a lot of knowledge on Sicily. Food is magical. It's a peaceful place to rest but also convenient to visit the surrounding like Cèfalu. From all places I rest, that was my favorite one.
