A welcoming structure a few steps from the center

We stayed as a couple in this property in the first half of July with the idea of visiting both Piazza Armerina and important archaeological and tourist sites in the surrounding area. The host, Mr. Sebino, welcomed us at the parking lot and guided us to the entrance of the b&b, which is located halfway up a hill, a few steps from the historic center. Our room was located at the top of a staircase on the first floor: a comfortable room with air conditioning and fan, on the days when the heat began to be sultry, slightly retro but functional furnishings and a new adjoining bathroom equipped with every comfort and courtesy kit. The host personally served us the typical Italian breakfast, as requested by us, in the kitchen left available to guests, but in addition he also offered us some typical local desserts. He also showed us and recommended some restaurants where we could taste the local cuisine and places and sites to visit, highlighting an in-depth knowledge of the history and territory. On the last day he also accompanied us to visit an interesting little-known site, guiding us and telling us the history of the place. The outcome of the stay is certainly positive, both for the welcome and the services offered. Advised

Sicilian kindness and hospitality in action

Nested in a tiny house in the peaceful Medieval quarter of the town, the property was clean, quiet and very good value. Our host could not have been more kind. Our only reason for visiting Piazza Armerina was to visit the Villa Casale Roman mosaics and our our host offered to drive us there, and then to collect us. He returned early the next morning to provide breakfast and take us to the bus stop. He provided ideas for things to visit in the evening. We communicated in French and as a tour guide himself, the journey back from the villa was an interesting conversation about Roman mosaic-making.

Ci si sente a proprio agio come a casa nostra

Io e mia moglie abbiamo voluto passare un fine settimana a Piazza Armerina per poter visitare la Villa Romana, il sito archeologico di Morgantina ed il Museo Regionale di Aidone .Tutto stupendo e alla bellezza di tanto da vedere si è aggiunta la simpatia di Marcella e Sabino, proprietari del B&B Torre Castellina. Pulizia al TOP, aria condizionata, letto comodo e a pochi minuti dal Duomo. Torneremo possibilmente in inverno dove dicono che l'atmosfera è davvero particolare.
