A pochi passi dal centro di Reggio mi sono trovato veramente bene consigliato
Fantastico... niente da dire confortevole e pulito con la signora che gestisce la struttura gentile e operativa a pochi passi dal centro di Reggio Calabria devo dire che mi sono trovato veramente bene... consigliato!

A terrible property in a fantastic location.
We had planned to spend five days in our hometown of Reggio Calabria, coinciding with the patron saint's day (8-12 September). We had everything planned. Secure garage for the car bought about three months earlier by my daughter, a house that was as close as possible to the garage, with a kitchen (considering that my wife and I were and are on a diet for health reasons and my daughter was vegetarian). The apartment had to have a private bathroom, shower and bidet. The structure we found seemed to be the ideal one, the price was also excellent, 365 euros (that's what it should have made me think). But unfortunately the reality was too bitter. We arrived on Thursday 7 September in the afternoon.
"The apartment" was not handed over to us by anyone, the owner told us by phone where to get the key.
A dilapidated, dirty house, the toilet seat detached on one side, the button on the toilet plate was sunken. Things never seen before. The shower compartment was very dirty, there was dirt in the corners of the bathroom. The kitchen had no closed cabinets, both wall and base units. That's why the glasses were on the sink.
In the presentation on Booking.com it was written:
- cooking utensils
there were only 3 soup plates and 2 plates, a fork and a knife, not even a saucepan to heat the milk, a small pan and a saucepan inside the semi-closed or semi-open oven, you name it;
- "in the morning a buffet or Italian breakfast awaits you", in reality it consisted of bottles of milk, coffee and snacks for children, we had to eat at the bar, in the small coffee machine there was some open coffee inside who knows how long;
- dining table, non-existent, just a shelf with two stools, there were three of us;
hygienically the kitchen gave no guarantees and we made do here and there to eat, goodbye diet;
- clothesline, non-existent, if there was one there was no convenience or possibility of washing anything;
- Minibar, but where?
In the presentation, in several photos you can see a bidet, in reality for a bidet there was a shower-type tube that came out of the wall next to the toilet and to wash you had to stand over the same toilet (see attached photo).
The owner, immediately informed about the criticality of the apartment, in particular the bathroom, told us that the next morning she would come with a worker to tidy it up. Since she didn't show up in the morning, I called her, she replied that she was looking for an available worker. She called later to say she would come with the worker at eleven. I replied that we should have left by then. We hadn't gone to Reggio to stay at home. The lady told me that it would have been better because the worker would have worked in peace. I told him not to come (I didn't like strangers entering the house without us considering we had our things). We stayed anyway despite the great inconveniences and the complete lack of hygiene. We became discouraged and my wife decided to leave on Sunday, two days before the scheduled departure. After paying for six days of garage. We decided to stay only because Saturday would be the day of the procession, the most heartfelt day of the festival. On Saturday morning after consulting with a Booking operator, I told the lady that we would be leaving the apartment early on Sunday. I handed over 215 euros for the three days on the same day. On Sunday 10 September, early in the morning, we left.
We didn't get to meet all our friends. I wonder how you can keep a structure in such conditions? After it is left by customers, aren't they checked to make sure everything is in order so that new customers don't have any inconveniences? A minimum of seriousness. Damn!
The only excellent thing is the location, but not thanks to the structure.

Horribly horrible.
Can you say horribly horrible?? No because I can't find any other adjectives to describe my experience in this place. Upon arrival no one informed us of the parking problem on that day due to the concert
Al bano, and after 6 hours of travel by car we just wanted to get to the room and take a nice shower. However, we find parking very far away and with suitcases, small child and dog it wasn't very nice. We arrive and no one shows up at check-in, they find the keys in a special compartment, in front of the door there are bags and bags of rubbish all placed there in front. Being a condominium there were quite a few bags of rubbish. We arrive in front of the door and at the main entrance there is a pre-packaged mini refreshment, microwave, coffee machine and jars of sweets. There are two other rooms in addition to the one where we unfortunately stayed. We enter the room and the floor was parquet all creaking, at every step you were afraid of ending up on the lower floor, dilapidated bathroom, horrible shower, the water came out WHITE from the taps, we barely washed our hands, no shower (fortunately it was only for one night ). We arrive in the bedroom where we requested the cot for the two and a half year old girl, what do we find? The camping cot without a mattress but with the rigid base that comes with these cots, to make people believe it is a mattress they insert a wool blanket and with the sheet they cover the base and the wool blanket. I'm not here to tell you that I didn't even let the little girl put a foot in there. The dirty balcony full of junk, dead plants, a broom with half a handle and a dustpan that wasn't even needed anymore. In the morning at the crack of dawn we ran away calling her and she replied that she couldn't come by to collect the money and check out and to leave the keys and money on the table in the room, so we never saw this ghost. I strongly advise against it, also avoid passing by the road

PESSIMO
Titolare PESSIMA: avevo prenotato una stanza quadrupla, al nostro arrivo non si è fatto trovare nessuno ad accoglierci, nessuno rispondeva alle telefonate… solo alla fine è venuto fuori che la nostra stanza era stata data ad altre persone

Da non ripetere
Proprietaria non presente per il check-in, a causa delle informazioni dateci per telefono abbiamo sbagliato la stanza. Bagno non finestrato e rubinetteria in condizioni pessime. Letto scomodissimo, cuscini e materasso molto sottili. Colazione a base di merendine pre-confezionate e caffè di pessima qualità. Unica nota positiva, l'ottima posizione e la pulizia della camera.
