We stayed for the June 2nd holiday, and I must say that we had a wonderful time; the hotel was well taken care of in every detail.
Fantastic hotel, meticulously maintained, with super attentive staff from the waiters to the managers, and the sweet girl at the reception who was always smiling.

Hotel Vistamare.
A truly pleasant stay. The hotel is in a perfect location, practically by the sea, and the rooms are modern, clean, and bright. The staff is always smiling and helpful. A varied and abundant breakfast, with fresh pastries every morning.

BAD IDEA !
This is going to be a rant, so please forgive me — but I wanted to leave a full, honest account of this property. I recently stayed there (within the last week or two) and was so excited when I found the listing. It looked like the perfect little place for a few days — boasting about the beach, nearby restaurants, and that private hot tub. Sold! I even booked the most expensive suite, thinking it would guarantee the best experience. Boy, was I wrong. RUN.
(Side note: don't touch the minibar. The same snacks are under €2 at the store down the street, yet they charge you nearly a 300% mark up per item.)
Maybe this hotel is fine in peak season, when it's full of tourists and energy. But when I arrived, it was so empty I thought I had the wrong place. I pulled up to a dim building — no one outside, not on the sidewalk, beach, or road. Inside, one man was working everything. He immediately insisted, “I MUST CLOSE OUT TICKET NOW!” — before check-in, not check-out. I told him I wasn't ready to commit to a four-day stay because the place already felt off. He replied, "IF YOU LEAVE, THAT'S YOUR CHOICE — BUT WE CHARGE YOU REGARDLESS," and showed me their "4-day cancellation" screen (though the site lists 8 days on booking?). Weird.
Let's talk about the property itself: there was no staff. The man I argued with was the front desk, bellhop, bartender, and waiter — and tried to find me food since their “restaurant” wouldn't open until “tomorrow.” (It never did, besides the same breakfast left sitting out all day.)
The bar was closed too, so if you want a drink, be ready to teach someone who is not a bartender how to mix it. They claim restaurants are a short walk — false. You'll drive 10+ minutes and pray for parking. There's one place walkable with nice staff, but limited hours.
The room and building were freezing. I'm not exaggerating — by the last night, I had five blankets, slept in a hoodie, sweats, and socks, and still shivered. The walls are so thin you hear everything — conversations next door, cleaning above you, toilet running for hours.
Then came the best (sarcastically) part: the "private" balconies have fake-tree walls for "seclusion." My last night, another couple decided to have the loudest sex imaginable out there (and yes in the hot tub you're about to rent) — like an audition for adult film. It was so absurd I had to abandon my own balcony and hide inside my freezing room until they were done, luckily they were so loud Everyone in the building knew when they finished and I was able to enjoy the now cold pizza I had to drive 15 minutes away to pick up myself since they had no food here.
Now, I've worked in customer service for years, so I'm understanding about mistakes — but when I checked out and told them how bad my stay was, including that scene from the night before, they had zero concern. No apology, no offer, no empathy — just a blank “not our fault” expression.At that point, I just wanted out.
I moved to Palazzo Bezzi in Ravenna — completely different world. Warm, friendly staff, great little spa (sauna, steam, rain shower), gym, adorable town, and quick access to real beaches and good food. Bonus: better prices and they actually make you feel like a valued guest. STRONGLY discourages Vistamare.
Oh, and PS — the “Fendi furniture”? Fake. I'd upload videos to share but it won't let me, just picture of empty streets, freezing rooms, and balcony sex echoes.
Definitely not family-friendly. Oh lastly, I hope you like waking up early... not only are their blinds pulled down off the ceiling but their black out curtains don't even stretch enough to cover the length properly.... by far my worst part of Italy.

Questa recensione è FALSA!!!! Questa persona non ha mai soggiornato nel nostro hotel. Non c'è nulla che rispecchi quello che è stato scritto, non abbiamo minibar, snack e tante altre affermazioni che non ci appartengono. Abbiamo aperto una segnalazione a Tripadvisor.

Great experience
We stayed one night in this hotel for a business commitment. The hotel is clean, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the breakfast great and plentiful. We highly recommend it :)
