At this price and in this location, there is nothing to complain about.

Before the trip, I saw many negative reviews mentioning noise and the usual complaints about dirt, but I decided to ignore them, drawn in by the price and location—and it turned out to be a good decision. As the reviews suggested, the room looked visibly old, but for my girlfriend and me, this added charm rather than affecting our comfort. It was very clean and tidy; although there was some visible damage to the wall near the air conditioner and the bathroom grout was dark and aged, none of this was off-putting to us. I had also read comments claiming it was noisy, but we didn't experience that—even though, given the location, we honestly expected it. With the window closed—which wasn't necessary to open anyway thanks to the air conditioning—it was surprisingly quiet; this was quite remarkable, considering how noisy Rome is everywhere, especially in the city center. The breakfast was also more than satisfactory for this price range (where you're just glad it's included at all). I think this is a great place to hide away after a whole day in noisy, chaotic Rome.

Location was good.
Breakfast was good.
Wi-Fi did not work
Bugs in the room and bed.
Staff was nice but could not remedy Wi-Fi situation.
Just okay if you just need a place to stay.

The location is close to the train station, close to the center, but it does not fit into 3 stars.

Terrible experience in room 103 – Overpriced and substandard services
We stayed in room 103 from Sunday to Thursday, booking directly with the hotel and paying everything upfront. Charging 160€ per night for this level of service is a complete rip-off. It does not meet 3-star hotel standards.
Note on cleanliness: To be fair, the room was clean, housekeeping came every day, and used towels were regularly replaced. However, the bed linens were never changed during our entire stay.
The main issues (as documented in the attached photos):
1. Fake double bed: We paid for a double bed but received two single beds (separate bases and mattresses) pushed together and poorly tied in the middle with a grey cloth. There was a huge, uncomfortable gap right down the center, making it impossible to sleep well.
2. No Wi-Fi: The internet was completely unusable during our entire stay. It showed "connected, no internet" on our devices.
3. Loud and run-down courtyard: The room faced an abandoned, dirty inner courtyard (see photos). On top of that, there was a constant, loud mechanical noise day and night from the air conditioning units outside.
4. Safety and loitering: Every single evening, the exact same homeless man was sitting right by the hotel's entrance stairs, drinking beer and heavily intoxicated, creating a very unsafe atmosphere.
We highly recommend avoiding this hotel. Total lack of respect for paying customers.

The staff was fantastic - the absolute best part of the experience. We were allowed to store our luggage and so we could sight see prior to check in which was nice. The room was very clean but rather run down - wallpaper peeled from the walls, fixtures corroded, well loved toilet seat…my sons loved the smell of the soap and enjoyed their showers very much. The breakfast was good and a nice perk. 25 minute walk to the colosseum.

Not worth staying

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing stay. When we returned to our room in the evening, we discovered there was no hot water. I went to the front desk to report it, and the receptionist said they would take care of it, but nothing was fixed. The water remained cold, so we couldn’t even enjoy a proper shower after a long day.
To make matters worse, there was a very loud mechanical noise throughout the night that made it difficult to sleep. The next morning, we also noticed stains on my daughter’s bed, and the mattresses were old and uncomfortable.
Between the lack of hot water, the excessive noise, and the poor condition of the beds, this hotel was not worth the money. I would not recommend staying here.
Needs update , warm water and more clean
