Glad we stayed here!

We had a wonderful time at your lovely hotel. We traveled with friends so were looking for a place with some common areas where we could meet and hang out and this place fit the bill perfectly. Outstanding breakfast! The most extensive hot and cold choices of any hotel we’ve stayed in and not just in Italy. It was delicious. We also really appreciated breakfast being available until 11:00. We requested a quiet room on the lowest floor overlooking the courtyard and were given room #108. It had a small entry way opposite the bathroom with an armoire and bench for clothes and luggage storage separate from the sleeping area. Comfortable bed. Excellent water pressure. Professional staff. Beautiful courtyard & rooftop. Great location. We dream of returning to Rome and staying here again.

First time in Rome, we will be back.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The staff have been extremely helpful, courteous & kind. We have been a party of eight guests, arriving at different times & days; going out at all times of the day & night for tours, etc. The hotel has different spaces to meet, relax & chat in. It's a calm environment with air-conditioning in the bedrooms. The breakfast service is a buffet with a comprehensive selection. In the evening, there is a dinner menu available. Equally, within a 5-6 minute walk you can experience excellent Italian & Roman cuisine & atmosphere. We hope to return and catch up on all the experiences we couldn't do during this visit.

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Ponte Sisto, for 5 nights. It is in a great location, both from a Trastevere railway station (via Taxi), and from the restaurant area in Trastevere, just across the bridge. The breakfast is very good with plenty of options from fresh fruit and yogurt, juices, and cereals to pastries - and also scrambled egg and bacon. If you want anything other than that, like a fried egg rather than scrambled or an omelette you will be charged extra. The breakfast staff and housekeepers all do a great job. We did have to change rooms due the noise between 2400 and 2am, from a guest in the room above. The alternative room was a little bigger and seemed more updated. Both rooms were superior rooms. The photos on the web site make the rooms look bigger than they actually are. But overall it was very good and we would go back again.

The good - the breakfast staff, the breakfast buffet, the garden terrace, the rooftop, and the location for site seeing. The not so good - the room is very loud at night, the rooms are small with very firm beds. I had a not good shower with a curtain that stuck to me and didn’t stop the water from soaking the whole bathroom, the shower is in a tub that wouldn’t drain and a tub faucet that hits you in the leg while showering.
Overall I don’t think I would stay again but it was fine for the price.

Excellent breakfast! Room was not serviced once during our 3 day stay- not even clean towels were offered and we ran out of toilet paper!
