Good time all around

We stayed at this hotel June 1st, 2026. It was our first day in Rome, we were jet lagged and tired, and we had no idea what to expect. The kind man Ada at the front desk gave us a free upgrade into a house that we didn't even see on the website and it was wonderful. Wifi isn't the best, but the AC was phenomenal. It's a cute little quaint hotel, you get what you pay for. The breakfast was AMAZING.. Totally free! Ada gave us directions to the metro, warned us about it, and highlighted all the areas to hit up on a map.

STAY AWAY from this hotel!

The property is located in a run-down neighborhood, in a industrial area. This area was deserted during the weekend. I didn't feed safe walking... The hotel didn't provide walking directions from the Metro station, even though I have sent them an email, confirming my reservation. The hotel is located at the top of a steep hills, and dragging a heavyweight suitcase, uphill was not easy! At the reception desk, a guy names Ade, was VERY rude! - blaming me for following google map. The elevator was VERY slow and you had to keep pushing the button, otherwise the elevator will stop. The elevator was not capable of liftin 2 peoples & a suitcase, so I had to climb the stairs. Too many stairs! The corridor was not leveled and had steps, so you need to watch your steps. The room itself had a step to the shower/washroom, which was a problem at night... The mattress was not comfortable- the springs were broken and made noise every time your turn on bed. I had to argue with Ade to replace the mattress. At the beginning he refused, claiming that the mattress was in good condition - bad altitude from a customer service. This guy refused to give me his name, but I have learned of his name after one of the employees called his name. In short - STAY AWAY from this hotel!

We stayed at this hotel for five nights after booking a Deluxe room. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
When we arrived, the air conditioning in our room was not working. We were moved for the first night to what the receptionist described as an emergency room. It was much smaller than the Deluxe room we had booked and was located directly behind the kitchen. We were woken up around 5:00 a.m. by kitchen noise.
After the air conditioning was repaired, we returned to our Deluxe room. However, the unit was very noisy at night. We also reported that the refrigerator was not working, but nothing was done during our stay.
The breakfast staff were not particularly welcoming. At check-out, we asked for compensation or at least a refund of the price difference for the first night, since we had paid for a Deluxe room but did not receive one. Our request was refused.
On the positive side, the breakfast itself was good, there is a pleasant view behind the hotel, the metro station is within walking distance, and we appreciated being able to park for free on the street in front of the hotel instead of paying the hotel’s €10 per night parking fee.

Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast very basic. Outside the hotel room there was too much fragrance used.
