Superb stay

Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Vatican.....and of course The ROMEHELLO!! So many beautiful discoveries during our city trip to Rome.
The Romehello is a concept that blends a youth hostel and a hotel, creating an extraordinary international atmosphere where one feels comfortable.
A young, dynamic team that is always smiling and ready to assist us, 24/7. Kudos to everyone
An ideal location: 10 minutes on foot from Termini station and the metro, between 20 and 30 minutes to reach the Colosseum and the city center.
Room: comfortable (top-notch bedding), clean (daily housekeeping service), and quiet (our room faced the inner courtyard). Small fridge and courtesy tray (kettle, tea/coffee) available.
The concept of shared kitchen and dining room is really great; everyone can prepare their own meals and has a space in the communal fridges.
Breakfasts are served at the restaurant "Timoty Drink&Kitchen" adjacent to the hotel, with super friendly staff and complete, high-quality breakfasts. Feel free to come and dine here as well. The hotel and restaurant share the terrace of the inner courtyard, and a discount is offered to hotel guests.
A weekly activity program is offered (common international meals, games...) and allows for wonderful international encounters, and the hotel’s entertainment team is always there to break down the barriers of the many languages present. A special shout-out to Guilherme for his masterclasses (carbonara, pizza...) and his great recommendations in Rome (Mami ).
Notable extras: luggage storage and the possibility to shower if you leave later in the day after check-out (11 AM).
If we return to Rome one day, we will not hesitate to book again at "The RomeHello" for its atmosphere and the quality of its services and team.

Exceptional stay in rome

I am writing this as we sit in the romehello hotel right now. We were very pleased with everything from the check in to check out. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The a/c worker great in the very hot summer. They have extras including kitchen, laundry and restaurant. Any issues or questions I had were addressed promptly and with gratitude. Highly recommend and very competitive priced. We stayed in a 4 person room and although smaller room than the states it worked for us. I would highly recommend to anybody staying abroad for vacation and likes to be close to it all and still have the luxury of things you might have at home.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've had in 40+ countries

Hi there! Traveling journalist who stopped at this hostel while working on a freelance piece about the best and worst places to be a digital nomad (was actually writing about this place haha).
Let's start out with what I paid 715.00 euros for three night and I'll just start off by saying if you are a digital nomad or looking for a social hostel this place is not the place for you. My colleagues loved the Yellowsquare hostel and I left here to stay at an Airbnb and my only regret not doing that sooner. Staying at an Airbnb was in fact cheaper and nicer to stay in, plus the main draw of a hostel the social aspect was sorely missing here. Would not recommend.
When I checked into the hostel it was a Sunday and when I inquired about events I was told they weren't having any until Tuesday, so as far as the social aspects I wouldn't rate it very high.
Pros: the room was clean.
Cons: While I was staying here I decided to do a late checkout, starting at 12:05 one person knocked on my door I told them I was doing a late checkout. Then another women come to my door 20 minutes later I told her I had already told her collegue I'm doing a late check out (this women's name was Lulu/Lilu something like that), so that's two people within 20 minutes ( she was also yelling saying"it's late, it's late" not very professional and again at the price point of the room, rather shocking.
When my checkout time comes I'm fastening my backpack, and am 3 minutes behind the time, and they begin BANGING on the door. I understand needing to flip rooms but at this price a night the level of aggression was shocking. In the hallway three people (an older women, a younger women, and a skinny short man) begin screaming at me, Lulu (I believe she's a cleaning manager) starts aggressively calling me a liar and saying I came downstairs when I literally never ever said that. I literally had to be like can we stop going round and round etc. As a journalist I travel a ton and have never had anyone speak to me like this.
So would I recommend this place? Absolutely not. For what you pay a night there are far nicer, more social, and kinder places than this.
(PS I shouldn't have been surprised considering how the manager of the hostel responds to reviews here, but again I was traveling to work on a piece and thought this place would be a good addition to the positive section, let's just say they won't be on that part of the list.)

Our standard check-out time is 11:00, and late check-out requests are always subject to availability and must be arranged in advance with reception. In this instance, no late check-out had been requested in advance. When our housekeeping team checked the room after 11:00, you were kindly asked to contact reception to inquire about the possibility of a late check-out. As no request was subsequently made, our team later intervened and, as a gesture of flexibility, extended your check-out time until 13:00.
As the room had not yet been vacated after the agreed time, our team needed to follow up so that housekeeping operations and preparations for incoming guests could continue as scheduled. We regret if our communication came across differently from what was intended, as our goal is always to be respectful while ensuring that the same procedures are applied consistently to all guests.
Equality is one of the core values of our hostel. Every guest receives the same level of service and attention, regardless of the room category or the price paid, and we kindly ask everyone to respect our house rules, which are designed to ensure a pleasant experience for the entire community.

Great place to stay in Rome. Extremely friendly team happy to accommodate all our requests.

We spent three days in this hotel before going for a cruise. Staffs, I mean all the people who work here are so nice and we had a great time. Love the complementary breakfast and the atmosphere. The room was clean and spacious with excellent bedding. Pretty close to the attractions. Thank you!!
