Everything was perfect. Stunning view.

We stumbled upon the beautiful Villa Poseidon by pure chance; we did not know it, and no one had suggested it to us. We had just completed the tour of the Amalfi Coast. Our decision to stop at Villa Poseidon was the happiest of the entire trip.
We arrived in the early afternoon, quite tired and hungry. They suggested the Restaurant at Porto Vecchio. We left our trolleys at the reception and headed towards the restaurant. We called from the car, and they told us it was late and fully booked, but that if we came from Villa Poseidon, they would still welcome us.
Upon our return, we found our luggage in our rooms. We had booked two single rooms (one for me and the other for my son), and we were accommodated in two beautiful double rooms with a splendid view (see photo). Everything was spotless and perfect; nothing was missing at all. Service and amenities were worthy of not just four stars but definitely superior. The courtesy and kindness of all the staff were exceptional.
I conclude. The Villa has a beautiful pool and even a great parking area for guests.
A suggestion for those reading. If you are in Salerno or the surrounding area, stay at Villa Poseidon; you will not be disappointed. For us, it was a regret to have to leave and not be able to stay longer due to prior commitments. We plan to return in the future.

Siamo lieti che abbia apprezzato il comfort delle camere, la vista sul Golfo di Salerno, la pulizia, i servizi offerti e la disponibilità del nostro staff. Condividere la Sua soddisfazione con tutto il team sarà per noi un grande piacere.
Ci dispiace soltanto che il soggiorno sia stato così breve. The grounds were impressive and impeccably manicured, the pool and deck area were quite spacious with quite comfortable lounging chairs tables and umbrellas.
Second to no one was the staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
Special mention and grateful thanks to the three gentlemen who manned the front desk .
It will be a place a will look forward o staying at again
The location is appealing as it is close to Bhai Beach and the Historic Town Centre as well as other places to visit in Solerno

4 person room was ample and the view was amazing. Breakfast was nicely presented and not rushed. The pool area was well maintained and great for relaxing in, the water was a tad chilly getting to get into but great to cool down in after the hottest summer on record! All staff incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, with nothing too much bother to research if requested.
The walk into the town (and therefore back up again in the evening) was the only downside but with careful planning this could be just once/day and the escalators going part of the way back up certainly helped!
Definitely worth the money and we highly recommend.

It has nothing of a boutique hotel, neither in service nor in structure.

It has a very convenient location from the highway and the city center. A beautiful view of the port, quiet and without waiters shouting in the hallways, plus it has ample parking. However, consider that they left me for 2 days without hot water and with the bidet leaking from the column and flooding the bathroom.
Without apologizing for the inconvenience, as if it were normal not to wash with hot water even though it is summer. The bathroom has a very heavy glass door that does not close and is noisy, and you can also see through it. The furniture is old now, the mattress is hard, and the pillows are very uncomfortable. The bottom of the pool was really dirty. Check-out at 10 should be illegal. The price is extremely high for the minimal quality.

Gentile Ospite, ci sorprende leggere questa recensione, perché non rispecchia quanto accaduto durante il soggiorno. In particolare, ci preme precisare che non ci è mai stata segnalata un'assenza di acqua calda per due giorni. Un problema di questa natura, se realmente esistito, avrebbe reso impossibile il regolare utilizzo della struttura e sarebbe stato immediatamente riscontrato anche dagli altri ospiti, cosa che non è mai avvenuta. Nessuna segnalazione ci è stata inoltre rivolta durante il soggiorno che ci consentisse di intervenire. Anche le altre osservazioni riportate risultano in netto contrasto con i riscontri che riceviamo abitualmente dai nostri ospiti. Riteniamo doveroso aggiungere un elemento che, probabilmente, aiuta a comprendere il tono della recensione. La mattina della partenza ci è stato chiesto di poter mantenere la camera fino alle ore 17:00 senza alcun supplemento. Abbiamo spiegato con cortesia che, essendo la struttura al completo e dovendo preparare la camera per gli ospiti successivi, ciò non era possibile senza il previsto costo aggiuntivo. Da quel momento sono sorte contestazioni anche in merito al pagamento della tassa di soggiorno, dovuta per legge. Siamo sempre disponibili ad accogliere osservazioni costruttive e a risolvere qualsiasi inconveniente, ma riteniamo corretto che le recensioni raccontino i fatti in modo obiettivo e completo. Ringraziamo comunque per aver apprezzato la posizione, la vista panoramica, la tranquillità e il parcheggio, aspetti che molti dei nostri ospiti continuano a valutare positivamente insieme alla qualità complessiva del soggiorno.
