Great Experience at Antico Podere
LOCATION: The property is a beautifully restored 16th Century farm located just outside Saluzzo. It is a 5 minute drive to the free parking lot which is near the old city and market. It is about a 15 minute walk. There are no restaurants near the hotel, but they are only a short distance away.
PREMISES: The history of this hotel is amazing. Donated by the Marquis of Saluzzo to the monks to work as a farm. The hotel retains this old charm - with fully modern and comfortable accommodations. The rooms are a nice size and have a nicely equipped bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Most rooms face the lovely inner courtyard, but we asked for a room with an exterior view. We ended up with a corner room with an amazing view. There is plenty of room far parking, and the hotel is also very bicycle friendly.
FOOD AND SERVICE: Breakfast at Antico Podere is a nice array of local foods. Yogurt, Breads, Cheese, Eggs, Meats, and of course Nutella. And we need to mention the delicious coffee that started our day. Most importantly the people working at the hotel were phenomenal. The people at the desk, the people at breakfast, and the housekeeping staff all have a very pleasant demeanor. Special Kudos to the lovely woman at the desk who recommended that we drive to Chianale. WOW.
Saluzzo is a very nice town to visit. Not a lot of tourists, and many interesting things for a small town. Old town is so scenic. Short distance from Staffarda Abbey and Castello de la Manta. And if you go to Saluzzo, I can highly recommend Antico Podere.

Fantastic hotel with great atmosphere and service
My visit was made even more unforgettable by Mr. Gina's amazing hospitality. He was consistently approachable, kind, and sincere in his desire to assist. His kindness and commitment were evident whether he was helping with arrangements, making recommendations for local places, or just checking in to make sure everything was fine.
It's uncommon to meet someone who makes you feel so cared for and accepted, and he really went above and above.
After a day of exploration, the well-kept, well-appointed rooms were the ideal place to unwind. The dining areas, common areas, and gardens are all welcoming and well-maintained, providing a tranquil and comfortable setting.
Anyone searching for an unforgettable stay in a stunning location, together with exceptional service and personalized touches that make you feel at home, should definitely check out Hotel Antico Podere, in my opinion. I am really eager to go back and relive the whole experience!
