One night is enough

We stayed my husband and I one night in the residence, practically the time to sleep from 1 to 8.00. One night 75 euro , great location in the center of San Giovanni , great parking practically in the structure. Bed linen and towels very clean. Old room , high temperature and super noisy heating system, too noisy, very old bathroom but clean and good hot water. For one night seen the price paid in two there can also fit (the kitchen to which I did not pay much attention, it seemed quite old and run down) in short I could go back just for one night as a support, but I would not take it for a few more days. The lady who welcomed us was very kind.

Terrible!

Poor accommodation, don't stay here!!! poor service, no English, smells of smoke , rundown, hard beds, we felt we wanted to get out of there as fast as possible! Unpleasant, dirty & no nice staff. Felt uncomfortable! No availability. Cold! Located next to a road with traffic & a train station right next door, gives noise!

Very average San G hotel

We've stayed at this hotel twice while travelling through San G and have chosen it mainly for its location close to the train station. After our last stay I have to admit that I would re-consider staying there again especially in the summertime. This is partly due to the fact that the hotel has placed massive air-conditioning units in the rooms that are extremely loud. Even my earplugs would not cover the sound of the A/C. Secondly, the A/C hardly cooled down the room. We mentioned this to the receptionist but she didn't seem to have any authorization to change things. The rooms are spacious but quite poorly designed and it really feels like you're not getting much value for your money. We also had ants in the room coming up from the kitchen sink. It's ok to pay 40e for such a room but 70-80e seems a bit steep. I really hope that they will improve the quality in the future!

Dirty and inadequate

We stayed here for four nights. The location is good and the accommodation is fair. But the place was dirty and the facilities dreadful.
Residenza says it provides serviced apartments, but the kitchen facilities were very poor: no electric kettle (the tiny saucepan took 30 minutes to boil water on the electric cooktop); no soup or sweets bowls; a pathetic range of cutlery; no comfy chairs; no other cooking pots; two big airconditioners that dominate the living/bedroom and second bedroom.
Worst, the cutlery tray was green with mould and one part was full of green, mouldy water.
The bathroom was good, but the towels were wafer thin. The apartment had very few power points.
The location is good -- backing on to the station, from which trains can get you in to Florence in about 50 minutes; and you can walk into the charming village in five minutes.
When we booked out and showed management the mould, they took 50 euros off our 350 euro bill.
