Magnificent stay
Extremely satisfied with the stay spent at this hotel.
The property, charming and well-maintained, harmoniously combines a splendid historic villa, expertly renovated, with an elegant modern area.
I stayed in the villa, in a room located on the third floor, characterized by a magnificent view of the lake and the surrounding woods. I give four stars to the room solely for the absence of a bidet and a shower, as there was a bathtub in the room; an aspect, however, clearly indicated in the accommodation description.
For the rest, everything turned out to be excellent. Cleanliness and hygiene were impeccable and at the highest levels.
The service stood out for its professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy. All the staff proved to be extremely attentive to the guests' needs, quick, and always available.
The dining deserves a special mention: an experience worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, with top-quality raw materials enhanced by the creativity and expertise of chef Dario.
I thank everyone and, in particular, the tireless Ms. Daniela, always present, available, and very attentive to every detail.

Pleasant first experience
A really pleasant first experience. We arrive under a thick snowfall and everything becomes even more magical, especially in the woods adjacent to the hotel. Great and kind welcome. You are staying in this beautiful dwelling in the villa itself and not in the new and modern sector. We choose with some risk the comfort room with bathtub located in the same room near the balcony. This can penalize a little the very appearance of comfort.’ Certainly not for the splendid tub, without hydro but enjoying with large windows, a wonderful experience and emotion. The room unfortunately then flaws a small closet, sink itself in the room and a small closet with toilet without bidet. There is also the doubt that the glass of the toilet closet has been mounted in reverse because from the outside you can see everything and from inside, with opacity ‘of the glass, you can not see outside. The glass door itself is very delicate. It takes a good touch of confidence with the person sharing the room. More than run-in and married we took with great spirit everything. The fact remains that we are still of the opinion that the bidet should remain a dutiful service for every type of accommodation. The room is then more than deserving, comfortable bed with pillows of South Tyrolean shape and consistency. Good sponges and bathrobes. TV and mini bar in the norm. Gorgeous covered terrace overlooking the lake and Ortles in the distance. More than valid breakfasts, with a wide choice of sweet and savory. Juices and extractor DIY perfect.. The same dinners were very good with decent choice. Maybe even better the normal and not Gala or Theme nights. Excellent drink card. Beautiful and spotless spa and lovely pool. Definitely deserves a few jets of hydro tasting. Cleanliness of every environment really excellent. All the staff in every sector has always been attentive and friendly. I celebrated my birthday, too. Good cake as I requested and very welcome little gift. Free parking and ski bus shuttle that takes you to the nearby lifts always free and with discreet frequency. Comfortable and more than welcome the ski and boot storage room. Beautiful also the other common areas. Kind gift in closing holiday. Promoted and recommended residence for every season.

A true queen!
I can only recommend this accommodation. First class service and excellent food. We come from Luxembourg and have been visiting the Forest Queen for 10 years and always like to come.

Outstanding week at Lake Haidersee
We stayed with two families with 4 adults and two small children (2.5 years and 5 months old) a week in January 2026 at Villa Waldkönigin. We had two very large rooms in the new component in which the two toddlers were also accommodated. The food we found to be above average, partly outstanding. Everyone was very satisfied and can only say a lot of praise to the staff. We shared the two suggestions with the boss in a personal conversation. So THANK YOU for everything

A lovely hotel in a lovely location
We spent three nights at this comfortable and well run hotel while exploring the area. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Dinners were equally good and used local products well. Reception and dining staff were extraordinarily welcoming. Highly recommend.
