Excellent vacation
A simply perfect stay! Hotel Paola is the ideal place for those who want to take a break from the routine and treat themselves to a few days of true relaxation. The environment, although dated, is welcoming, well-kept, and immediately conveys a pleasant feeling of tranquility.
The cuisine deserves a special mention: delicious dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and a lot of passion. Every meal was a pleasant surprise.
The real strength of the property, however, is the staff: always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every guest's needs. An authentic kindness that really makes the difference and makes the stay even more pleasant. Top-notch breakfast… the homemade cakes were delicious, and the barista's attention to the customers' tastes was an extraordinary treat.
A special thanks also goes to the owners, exquisite, courteous, and always present people, capable of making every guest feel at home.
I highly recommend Hotel Paola to anyone looking for hospitality, excellent cuisine, and a family atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Carloforte summer vacation
This year, too, I went to spend my vacation on the island of San Pietro. I stayed at the Hotel Paola, where we also had breakfast and dinner every evening. The level of the first courses is remarkable; I would use the term excellent. The level of the main courses is also very high, even if, in my opinion, they should be ranked half a step lower than the previous ones. Like all the other times (I mean in previous years) that we have been guests at the Hotel Paola, the rooms were clean, tidy, and equipped with efficient air conditioning. Both the owners and the service staff are very kind, and it is possible to exchange opinions of various kinds with them during the stay.
A sore point is the management of the island's marine facilities, both regarding the management of the beaches and other access points to the sea, about which I prefer not to leave any review.

The review I never wanted to write....
Because a place like this you'd want to keep a secret, just for yourself, away from prying presences, out of jealousy... jealousy of a beautiful place and precious people, as only friends can be.
We stayed for three nights at the Hotel Paola and what most impressed us was the genuine warmth of the Welcoming. Since our arrival, we have felt part of a place where serenity and courtesy are first.
This same feeling is also found in the restaurant Primo Maggio, where we had dinner every night. The cuisine is not only excellent, but has an authentic and well-kept flavor that comes from afar, from recipes handed down with passion and prepared with high quality ingredients. Each dish has transmitted to us the tradition and flavors of the place.
In addition to rare hospitality and high-end cuisine, the hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms and a quiet location with beautiful views.
For this we thank Paola and Pier, people who make you feel good because they love their work and know how to transmit the true spirit of the island even to those who stay only for a few days and you can take home a little Sardinia

We're stuck in 1980.
We are stuck in 1980; it is true that Carloforte does not offer much, but in exchange for 180€ I would have expected a little more.
The property offers rooms with excellent sea views.
The furniture and finishes, although in good condition, date back to 1980. Same for the bathroom, very fané.
I would have expected more from breakfast. Interesting jams and homemade cake. But for those like me who prefer salty, two slices of ham and two slices of pecorino must suffice.
The staff was very friendly.

Simple and beautiful
An unpretentious hotel but beautiful in its simplicity. The management is family-run and the welcome is friendly. Relaxing environment surrounded by greenery, with many wonderful colors among flowers, sea and Mediterranean garden. The view is extraordinary. It has a large breakfast room, all glass, from which you can enjoy an incredible view.
