Nice solution also for families
Great location, spacious, modern, very welcoming, very helpful staff very welcoming and affable .. we were the only guests and we were really pampered with a thousand attentions, excellent quality food, plentiful and of a good standard, prices are appropriate to the type of restaurant, not cheap but with about thirty euros you eat very well and plentiful, the wine we did not take but have many fine wines and therefore expensive, even by the glass. Bar open right in front of the chairlift ... If you want to eat a sandwich on the fly there are other bars nearby .. We spent a wonderful day on the snow with bobsleighs and toboggans ... some had even lent us the staff of the structure ... all very nice recommended!

Never again
Poor quality of food. The raw and cold frying, the shin covered with a gelatinous patina without flavor, looked precooked like canteen. To be avoided

Unforgettable experience!
Wonderful place, surrounded by the greenery of the Sibillini Mountains, with a simply breathtaking view. The cabin is cared for in every detail: modern, clean, new rooms equipped with excellent hygiene products. The staff is friendly and helpful, with a special mention to the cook, friendly and attentive, who recommended delicious dishes and was able to meet our needs by offering vegan and vegetarian options. The breakfast was great, simple but of great quality, both sweet and savory, with really exceptional cold cuts.
We traveled with two large dogs and were welcomed without any problem; indeed, they were thoughtful enough to alert us to the presence of sheepdogs in the surroundings, so as to keep us prepared. An unforgettable stay, which we absolutely recommend and hope to repeat soon!”

ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN FOR A FEW CLICKS
Search and find for a new place to take a couple of shots in the mountains and, perhaps, with the first snow. In November, at least here in Rome, it was still so hot that the snow seemed like a childhood memory. An eye on the weather and an eye on the maps and a smoking brain to figure out if I'd found something I hadn't already done. They are a sign of July so the search for something that is not obvious is not a walk. The hand of a “Tiger” sends me a suggestion, “why don’t you go here”. The Bolognola. Having said that, I see the map, find Baita Solaria, phone, book and confirm immediately with all the necessary credentials.
Then there is the rest.
It is a long story even if it lasted less than twenty-four hours.
And I like writing, especially when I “feel” that I have met Special People.
Taking a photograph is often weather-related. Everything I needed except rain, so I tell of my needs. Welcomed, reassured. In addition, in the fortnight before the stay, only one night and not even the whole, People have taken care to inform me about the weather and the roads.
I was in Baita Solaria on December 13, returning to Rome from Castel San Pietro Terme. To say that the flood was coming down is little. Now on the road and with a reliable weather forecast that reassured me of the improvement for Saturday the fourteenth, I continue undeterred. Getting to the top of the climb that from the floor, behind Macerata, via Sarnano (I think) was a good test on the road. Going up the snow you notice at the roadside. In the hotel there was only me. A relief for me who love silences and solitude.
Giorgio welcomes me. Mountain people, a thread of initial perplexity I felt. Mr. Sirius with whom I had long conversations on the phone did not meet him. Between a cigar and a coffee, the two people studied and recognized each other. I would like to write a lot more about this because we must NEVER forget that it is the People who make the structure, hotel or restaurant, a valuable structure for which it is worth a return trip even if only to see People with whom a relationship has been established first of all respect and courtesy. On TripAdvisor, which I only frequent when I “feel” the desire to write, I imagine the reader is looking for a drier opinion less of fiction. In Baita Solaria everything is so perfect that I allowed myself the luxury of walking barefoot not only in the room but also in the restaurant lounge. Of course it was just me. But the care with which Baita Solaria is conducted really impressed me. A feeling of welcome and cleanliness not so common around. Ed, I've been to hotels. From celebrated four Florentine seasons to those of the Sardinian east coast, so sought after, coveted and of great value. And I would like to see, with what you read displayed in the closet! In the evening I had dinner with the platter of cold cuts and cheeses and discovered that Marche have quality products that make Emilians and Romagna pale. They don't want me, but they do. And it wasn't hunger. It was appreciation of quality. It's my room. Well, I wouldn't have left. True, a large and well furnished double, even a kitchenette. Especially facing east so I can see the sunrise and move without the alarm clock. Bathroom? Perfect, wide. Very clean and with the ritual equipment. The shower? And who wanted out. In my wandering around Italy to take a new photo I have two fixed points regarding the stay. One in Campo Imperatore and the other in Marina di Gioiosa Ionica. Here I have first of all friends who spoil me and pamper me, I need it. Now I have a third place, Baita Solaria alla Bolognola. Glad to have met them. I'll want to see them again. Hugs, guys.
