A night in Sasso Marconi

Small hotel restaurant.
Extremely dated rooms, bad smell, 70s acrylic blankets with “bigolini”, broken electrical outlets that do not charge, noisy water leaks from the shower, supplied tiny bag of shampoo, overall look a bit ‘lugubrious,
Payment required in advance in the evening.
In the morning access closed until 7.30.
Uncoordinated breakfast, you have to ask for anything, piece of butter, fork, water, milk etc; yogurt only sweetened, in return good ham.
Great pizza, really very good, perceived mediocre the rest of the menu, young waitress very kind.

Hotel that has greater potential.

Hotel with convenient parking on the street. A bit dated, and several improvements are being made to update it.
Our room, large, also had a refrigerator, unfortunately turned off and left closed (not usable). Large bathroom, with access to the balcony, but with shower that needs more cleaning.
The heating unfortunately is controlled remotely, and we did not like this much, not being able to regulate it from the room.
Breakfast with savory and sweet, served by a very kind lady, as well as all the people we dealt with.

Not exactly the first choice

Arriving outside the hotel, it is not clear whether or not there is a separate entrance to the hotel. The care of the rooms is quite neglected, in fact there are shoe prints on the walls and other stains. Cleanliness is not the best. The walls are thin, so much so that I listened to all the speeches of the neighbors with annoying noises. The only positive notes were the bathroom, large and comfortable, although poorly cared for, and the restaurant where I could eat a decent pizza made in a wood oven clearly visible.

On the occasion of other events in Bologna we will always consider the "Bettola"

We stayed at this property (for the second time) for its proximity to the Unipol Arena on the occasion of the WWE show.
We found what we were looking for, practicality and essentiality at a more than acceptable price given the highly sought after weekend on Bologna and surroundings.
Large room (especially the bathroom with very spacious shower) and parking just below the Hotel.
Breakfast average.
Unfortunately we could not try the restaurant service.
At other events in Bologna we will always consider the "Bettola".

Nothing special

Staff is friendly and room was clean. However, bed was uncomfortable and trough the walls sounds are heard, also at the breakfast was poor food choices and for the price I would expected more... But, the cleaning lady was very friendly and she ironed me a shirt.
