WELCOME WITH VIEW
A few kilometers from the fishing village of Sampieri, in an elevated and panoramic position, is this pretty structure. Five rooms, each with a different theme. Beautiful sea view pool and breakfast room, all furnished in Bohemian style. Dora, the hostess, has incredible energy and there really is her hand in everything that this facility is and offers. Worth noting is a hearty and delicious breakfast served, sweet and savory with local products.

Welcomed by a sparkling hostess, we found ourselves immersed in an idyllic atmosphere and a family atmosphere: garden with attention to detail, swimming pool and sea view terrace, each room is neat and well maintained, with refrigerator and air conditioning... in summary: 5-star rating. Nice place but many things to improve
As soon as I arrived at this B&B I would have given it full five points. Silent and relaxing atmosphere. Pool area, deckchairs, very intimate and well furnished breakfast room. It happened to me several times that I was completely alone in the pool with a silence that made you fully hear the sounds of nature. Beautiful view, from the swimming pool, as the name suggests. Everything the same as the photos. But as soon as I got to the room I noticed that in the bathroom there was used and almost finished soap and shampoo. The tiny window, without a covering (mosquito net) and you are afraid to keep it open for animals that could enter being in the countryside. Even though we kept it closed we found spiders and centipedes inside. But the problem is not these animals that are normal to exist in the countryside, but the absence of decent fixtures. At least these should be renovated to make the place habitable. We requested cleaning after the three days but apart from a freshening up of the bathroom and the arranging of the suitcases I don't think anything else was done. The bathrobes were not changed but only hung outside the door. Much less the sheets in which you could smell the residue of sand. The breakfast is nice, they also give you fruit but I would add something to spread jams on or more cold cuts for those who prefer it salty. The water in a jug stinked. Furthermore, the payment at "check-out" (so to speak, given that they didn't even ask for the documents) will want to be made in cash. I was a little disappointed.

Grazie per la tua opinione.
Dato che sei stato qui solo per 3 giorni, su internet e nella stanza c'è scritto che puliamo la stanza ogni 3 giorni, ma anche di più su richiesta, con un piccolo supplemento che non hai pagato.
tutte le stanze sono inoltre dotate di adeguati armadi e scaffali.
Ci dispiace per le salamandre, anche se non c'era il sapone nuovo, cosa non usuale.
Purtroppo non ho ricevuto i vostri passaporti, e normale tutti ospiti quando arrivano portano passaporto a me .E vero,non abbiamo possibilità di pagare con carta di credito ma non vedo il problema pagare il contanti,da oggi nessuno di nostri clienti si lamentano

An eventful week in Sampieri
Poggio Bellavista, mid-October 2023:
House with a beautifully maintained garden, quiet, good for relaxing. Host friendly and open-minded. Two well-behaved dogs and cats. Rooms well-kept and lovingly furnished. The dinner, which Dora, the lady of the house, prepared herself, was tasteful and varied, as was the breakfast. The extensive sandy beach, about 2.5 km away, is very clean with deckchair rental.
To rent the motorcycle, Bernard drove with us to the Honda dealer in Ragusa. At first a large, heavy tourer was offered, but we had ordered a smaller machine suitable for social use, as shown on the homepage. Unfortunately, there was nothing except a Yamaha FZ6. After 80 km of driving, the electrics completely failed. Disillusioned and disappointed, we just drove. There are many ways to explore in the area, the area is simply inspiring!

A wonderful b&b in the middle of flourishing garden
Sampieri has one of Sicily's most famous beaches: a 2-km-long sand beach that deepens very slowly and there were no medusas there while we were spending time in town. I swam a lot. Absolutely delight. There are not many accomodation options around but luckily there's one great b&b little uphill, Poggio Bellavista. The vista is really bella, you can see from the top of the hill a whole Sampieri beach and also farther around. The b&b is kept by Dora, she is full of energy, ("like a volcano", another guest characterized) - but only in a good way. Dora is extremely friendly and there are no problems that she won't solve. We have some trouble with air conditioning and she arranged it immediately. Our room was very beautiful and clean, it had a tropical design that suited well to a place in the middle of flourishing garden. The breakfasts were delicious and there's a good parking place for a car. And by the way, there are not so many geocaches in Sicily, but one of them has been owned to Dora's place! We really liked this place.
