I don't understand the negativity of some reviews

I honestly did not understand all these negative reviews.... then it is not a five star is fine, but it is an absolutely good structure.... my room (number 29 on the second floor) was really large and spacious, it is true there was a bed for a small child (the one with the railings) but it was at the corner and it did not bother me... moreover I have to sleep in the hotel (fine), have a bathroom in the room, and a decent breakfast... but to hear about the ineducation of the staff seemed to me a free nastiness... indeed I found an incredible kindness, even in wondering if everything was okay... I was three days also taking advantage of the free parking as I had a new car.... Herculaneum can be reached in half an hour, even less for Villa Campolieto... and you are a step from Pompeii with your own car (20 minutes maximum)... for me it was an experience that if I return to the area definitely go back...
I recommend only in arriving to bypass the navigator and NOT to exit at Ercolano Scavi if you come from Rome but at the next exit Torre del Greco Nord I think... this is because exiting at Ercolano scavi makes you make a narrow road with alternating traffic lights that is really flush and narrow and especially if you have the green on the other side they do not care and at some point you have to back off in a narrow point....
Torre del Greco is nice, and the breakfasts at the hotel Santa Teresa are right... I believe that if someone had misunderstandings, if he really SPOKE with them about the structure a solution in my opinion was found... it is real payment as soon as you arrive but to me it did not disturb, indeed so I do not have the 'anxiety' that I have to pay and I feel more comfortable...
I repeat reading the comments AFTER being there I did not understand certain negative reviews, I also inquired about how the hotel was "born" and I understood that it is run by the heirs of those who built a villa on the so-called "golden mile" so it is not even that I have changed management....

Terrible.

Scandalous!!! Noisy, old furniture and noisy beds, dated and uncomfortable mattresses, dust everywhere, but this is nothing respect the rudeness, rudeness and acidity of the owner, person nn suitable for the public, I highly recommend her to change trade

Interesting place

Very helpful owners. Rooms were simple and clean. Nice garden surrounding property. Outside the property existed utter chaos as is the norm in Italy. Ten minute walk to Circumvesuviana, with destinations to Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples.

Very pleasant stay

We spent five days in this beautiful historic hotel with an aristocratic feel.
Rooms are large and clean with comfortable beds. The view from our balcony was amazing.The garden is beautiful and well looked after.
There is plenty of parking space.
The hosts and staff in general were very helpful and friendly, we immediately felt at home.
The hotel is conveniently located , within a pleasant walk from Herculaneum. The circumvesuviana station is also very close with easy access to Naples, Pompei and Sorrento. Bars , restaurants, cash machines and a supermarket are nearby.
Good value for money.
Highly recommended.

A Trip ToTorre Del Greco

My wife and I had a pleasant six day stay at the Albergo Santa Teresa. We came to Torre Del Greco to meet with family who lived near by. The albergo was situated near a main shopping area close to restaurants , outlet stores and there was a church nearby. The setting was clean giving the feeling of the aristocratic Italy of the past. The staff at the desk were particularly helpful with details about the community and with available tours to Capri and the like. They spoke English. They were helpful as to travel information to Naples and Italy in general. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast. An adaptor was provided to charge the phone. The Circumvesuviana which we took to Naples was within walking distance. There is ample parking
