stay a stone's throw from Lake Garda
My partner and I stayed at this super cozy hotel for three nights.
The review we can leave is entirely positive!
We had requested a room with balcony and the staff was immediately available to meet the request. The room was simple but equipped with all amenities, with the addition of a beautiful lake view.
The breakfast was excellent and varied.
Free public parking available a few meters away. The swimming pool very comfortable! We used it a lot!
Strategic location to reach the nearest beach which is 5 minutes walk.
Thanks to all the staff for their kindness and availability. It was an unforgettable holiday!

Ants & Weird Staff
Not a nice place to stay in. While the outside looks nice, looks can deceive. I was here with my school for three nights, didn't think it was too bad until the second night.
The dinner they serve is appalling. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. Pasta full of oil, disgusting, slimy boiled pork, the dessert was decent.
Staff was rude, constantly giving dirty looks to us, staring at everyone while they ate (most didn't it was vile.) One of the staff members was being extremely inappropriate to one of my mates (we are all underage students) which was also vile.
The room situation was terrible too. Outdated, grubby room. Walls were covered in weird dirty filth, air conditioning unit was broken and there was dirty black stuff between the vents. Blinds for the balcony also did not close, so we had no choice but to use the thin see-through curtain that did nothing for privacy.
On the second night, we woke up to about 30 ants all over the room floor, crawling on our luggage. We were given a can of bug repellant and was told it would be fixed. Next day we arrived back at the hotel in the evening, they cemented over the skirting board where the ants were coming in. My room was on the second floor, which meant they were coming up through the walls. Another one of my mates reported ants in his bed.
Breakfast then was strange too. Plenty of options but the food all tasted stale. Cereal was chewy. For my first time experience abroad, I already had my expectations pretty low, but this hotel somehow went lower

Resort experience very disappointing
I have just returned from a four night stay at Hotel Adria as part of a coach trip of solo passengers. I was first allocated a room with a shower cubicle. The doors opened up about 9 inches, impossible to get through. Also the toilet was positioned a few inches from the side of the shower cubicle. In order to sit on the toilet I had to put my legs in the shower. I pointed this out to the owner, who laughed and said he had that problem, patting his stomach. I was given a new room which had a square shower basin with a silky shower curtain around it. To be honest this was not much better as it flooded everywhere due to the basin only being a couple of inches deep. One day I didn’t go on the organised trip. I came down for breakfast at 8.50am and the staff were clearing the breakfast items on the buffet. I just managed to get a coffee from the kitchen. By 10 am the hotel was absolutely empty apart from two cleaners. At lunchtime we asked if we could get a drink, water, coffee or even a beer. The cleaners said , no the hotel was closed. I complained to the owner that night and he said, the bar was closed at lunchtime, but pointed to fridges in reception saying these are for you. We know what you take as there are security cameras pointing to them. This is the first time anyone had heard this. To be honest this hotel is all front of house show, even though there are no comfortable seats, only table and chairs in the bar and dining rooms. I wonder why companies use this hotel, not many facilities and away from alternative places to visit on foot. Saying that there is a lovely little cafe bar right next door, frequented by local people.
The hotel was closing down the day after we left, but no excuse for a poor service to paying guests.

A room with a view.
I stayed at this hotel last week as part of a tour group. We arrived early evening, and were given a welcome drink by the host, and allocated our rooms - I was put in 305, and told that I had the best view of the lake - they were not wrong, it was probably the best view I've ever had, or will have, from a hotel room.
However, the room was very basic, with nowhere to put things, and no radiator to dry my wet clothes after a long walk in the rain, and the shower room was a little on the small side, but for me, it was absolutely fine.
There was a good choice at breakfast, although you could not make your own tea, and I had difficulty getting the staff to put the tea bag "al dentro la taza" before pouring the water, but at least they provided trays so you don't have to go back and forth with your food.
The restaurant was very nice, and food was good, but unless you like Prosecco, which I don't, there was no alternative free drink after the meal, but I persuaded them to make me a cup of tea on one occasion.
Just a couple of minor downsides - pool was not open, and there was nowhere for people to socialise on a rainy day. That said, I would return in sunnier climes, if only to use the pool.

The best pizza in the area
I often eat pizza every Saturday night. I find all its ingredients genuine and attention to detail. Congratulations to the pizza maker, to the chef for all the dishes cooked, to all the Staff for the welcome and kindness. I highly recommend it. Great place to stay
