A wonderful discovery in Tropea
We stayed at this B&B for a few days and could not make a better choice! The location is great: in a quiet area but still only 10 minutes walk from the sea (there is a staircase of about 90 steps to do) and 15 minutes walk from the historic center. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of Tropea without being in chaos.
I recommend to park your car in the free places of the avenue where the b&b is located or along the main road and leave it there.
The room was clean, and equipped with every comfort, even Netflix subscription, with a balcony. Breakfast, served every morning, was plentiful and varied, with fresh produce and you could enjoy it on your private balcony or in the common entrance room.
Special thanks to the owners, always helpful and friendly: they made us feel at home, also recommending great places to eat and less crowded beaches to visit.

We had a fantastic time at BnB Joele! The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into making guests feel at home.
Breakfast was served at our preferred time, and we even had the chance to enjoy it right on our balcony – a lovely way to start the day. It was simple but had a nice variety of both sweet and savory options. Chiara was absolutely wonderful – kind, helpful, and always ready with great local tips.
Chiara, our host, made us feel welcome from the start. She was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy and enjoyable. Thank you, Chiara!
While it's possible to walk to the beach, having a car definitely helps – especially if you want to avoid the many steps up and down. Tropea and its surroundings are beautiful, and well worth exploring. The beach itself is clean, calm, and perfect for swimming or simply relaxing.
There’s also a supermarket right across the street that makes delicious sandwiches – perfect to take down to the beach with a cold Peroni. We had our own umbrellas and sunbeds, so we were able to enjoy the free beach areas comfortably.
A perfect spot for couples looking for a peaceful and authentic getaway. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

Everything beautiful
The B&B Joele is located in a truly strategic position about 700 m from the center of Tropea and with a few steps you are in the splendid sea of Tropea.
Very clean, welcoming B&B with very kind owners.
We would like to thank everyone and in particular Chiara who in the morning while we were having breakfast gave us cultural lessons on Tropea and Calabria, very useful advice on all the beaches of the Costa degli Dei, we will take this into account for the next few years. We'll see you next year.

Disappointing
There is no denying that it is a structure that I would recommend.... Large, well-equipped and well-furnished rooms, a filling but not high-quality breakfast, a discreet location, it is absolutely not beachfront or even with a sea view, as it is only visible in the distance from two of the three rooms; it is 1.2 kilometers from the centre, but all in all, if you feel like walking it doesn't matter at all. Apparently friendly and helpful staff, I say this because when I really needed them, they weren't there. And it literally happened like this: we needed our luggage to leave, left in the facility for the whole day, after about twenty calls and after making us miss the train they finally deigned to answer. They didn't find any solutions for us to spend the night in the area, making us fend for ourselves, they limited themselves, with lots of complaints, to giving us a paltry refund for the additional expenses incurred relating to transport. It's a shame, though, because they had been two wonderful days, we had enjoyed everything and they ruined our morale right at the end. To conclude I would say in total sincerity that the rooms deserve to be praised, the rest was disappointing.
