An unforgettable stay
After discovering Tuscania and Maremma Lazio, my partner and I decided to go to this region to spend a few days relaxing. We had the pleasure of staying at the farm Re Tarquinio and I can say without hesitation that it was an unforgettable experience. From the first moment we were greeted with a kindness and hospitality out of the ordinary by Massimo and Rosa Maria, who manage to make you feel at home, but with that special touch that makes everything even more authentic.
The food is simply excellent: genuine dishes, rich in flavor and prepared with great care, which tell the territory and the passion for cooking. All immersed in a unique, relaxing and true atmosphere, far from the daily frenzy.
The farm is surrounded by acres of wonderful land, where nature is expressed in all its beauty. Walking through these open spaces, among scents, colors and silences, is an experience that completely regenerates.
In the farm there are several iron installations made by the owner Massimo, which make this place even more authentic.
Our stay was divided into two different experiences: one night we spent it in the Minerva room, cozy and cared for in every detail; the next day, however, we moved to the Domus Regina, a real pearl of luxury set on the hill. Here we could admire a simply wonderful sunrise and enjoy fantastic services, such as the whirlpool with a view, which made the stay even more special.
Filippo deserves a special chapter, with whom I had the good fortune to spend really fantastic moments. Thanks to him I was able to get to know his beautiful Maremma horses up close and live the emotion of free taming lessons: an intense, authentic and deeply exciting experience.
Reading some reviews I noticed that unfounded criticism has been made. When you go to country places you have to take for granted the presence of small insects and it would be quite worrying if there were none! Personally, we had no problem with it, but we were fortunate to have seen a fawn at dusk. A very special meeting! Not to mention the peaks surrounding the estate! I think animals feel safe here and this is a positive note for true nature lovers!
A heartfelt thank you to all of you for making this stay so special. A big hug to the big dog Antoinette and her friends who kept us company throughout our stay! We will definitely be back!

In paradise
Exceptional experience both for the structure and for the professionalism and friendliness of the owners. Rosa, Massimo and Filippo made us feel at home, as a family. Leaving you is always difficult... but we have the desire to return next year. Thanks for everything.

Bad experience Domus Regina
We stayed one night in the Domus Regina but found several problems in various respects.
The dinner (not included in the price) included a set menu with little elaborate dishes but at the same time at an excessively high price and served with an absurd speed.
Breakfast included in the price was miserable.
The main structure is reached by a very bumpy road not to mention the one that leads to the private structure in which we stayed.
As for the latter very nice structure but invaded by insects.
The pool that is located at the farm was devoid of umbrellas and the edge was green.
The riding school is not kept in the best way.
The owner (I presume) was several times rude and did not accept payment by ATM but only in cash (we had to make almost 1 hour drive to go to an ATM and return to the facility), when I asked for explanations about these were not exhaustive at all, quite the contrary.
I would not recommend the stay.
I'm not used to writing reviews but this was a must.

Cena: in nessuno dei nostri canali è indicato che la cena è inclusa nel prezzo del pernottamento. Essendo un agriturismo, proponiamo piatti semplici e legati alla tradizione locale, con ingredienti del territorio, come è nella filosofia della nostra cucina.
Colazione: la colazione della Domus Regina prevede caffè, tisane, latte, acqua, succhi di frutta, yogurt, 4 paste fresche, cereali bianchi, cereali neri, marmellate, miele e fette biscottate, quindi tutt’altro che “misera”.
Insetti: la Domus si trova in piena campagna, immersa nella natura; non possiamo quindi garantire un’assenza totale di insetti, ma facciamo sempre il possibile per mantenere l’ambiente pulito e confortevole.
Piscina: non sono presenti ombrelloni perché la zona è esposta a un vento costante proveniente dal mare. Per questo abbiamo scelto l’ombra naturale degli alberi e un gazebo stabile, soluzione più sicura e sostenibile.
Uso degli asciugamani: abbiamo notato che sono stati utilizzati i teli bagno come teli da mare in piscina, cosa espressamente vietata dal regolamento della suite. Ricordiamo che il rispetto delle regole serve a garantire un soggiorno di qualità per tutti gli ospiti.
Pagamento: al momento della prenotazione nella email è chiaramente indicato che il saldo va effettuato tramite bonifico entro il giorno prima dell’arrivo o in contanti all’arrivo. Non è previsto il pagamento con POS.
Ci dispiace che alcune informazioni non siano state lette con attenzione: sono tutte riportate nei documenti che forniamo agli ospiti, insieme alle regole della struttura.

Just fantastic
The landscape is wonderful and relaxing, the food excellent, the location allows you to go to the sea, the lake or areas of historical interest. The possibility of horseback riding allows you to admire the landscape in all its beauty. Rosa Maria, Massimo and Filippo with their helpfulness and courtesy help to make your stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

A favourite place
Nice, individually-designed apartments, a beautiful garden, a placid and most stunning landscape, well-bred and extremely well-trained horses, delicious home-cooked meals and - most important - very nice, warm-hearted and welcoming owners make this Agriturismo a very special and outstanding place. Having been here many time we look forward to coming back.
