We booked Goccia di Luna last minute after originally planning on Tuscany and finding out that agriturismo didn't have AC during the heatwave. The property is immensely family friendly and everyone is very helpful. Loved chatting with the family that runs the place! Highly recommend, and obviously the spot is goooorgeous

Immersion in the Umbrian valleys

Farmhouse in the middle of the Umbrian valleys. Strategic location about half an hour from Gubbio, Perugia and Assisi. Very attention to detail and top cleaning! Owners friendly, helpful and nice. Beautiful both the interior, with the fireplace room and the exterior with the pool. Cared for and well kept also the animals present: horses, donkeys, sheep, birds, cats, dog...

Beautiful structure, surrounded by greenery

A week with the family, with two children aged nine and seven. We booked a mini-apartment, located right next to the pool. The accommodation was well maintained and clean. Good breakfast buffet with different types of cakes and non-industrial desserts (for lovers of savory breakfast, the choice was instead very limited). Excellent location, completely surrounded by greenery but just 4 km from the center of Umbertide. The location also lends itself to numerous sightseeing tours: from the property you can reach the beautiful medieval village of Montone in 15 minutes, Gubbio in about 20 minutes, Assisi and Passignano sul Trasimeno in half an hour. We stayed for dinner only one evening, preferring for the remaining stay to eat the meal out, not to be bound to the times: the menu (fixed) included appetizer, first, second and dessert; simple but pleasant. The pool, very nice, was clean and cared for, as was the whole structure. The owners always kind and helpful. An added value, especially for children, the presence of animals such as horses (if you want, you can book a riding lesson or a simple ride), rabbits, birds, peacocks, chickens, cats and a cute big dog. Overall the experience was really very positive

The jewel of sympathy surrounded by greenery

I was on vacation this week and immediately a good Welcoming of Giordano and his son Paolo to welcome us with a smile. After initial accommodation in the bedroom with a double bed and an additional one in the attic, where, however, it was to pay attention to the staircase a little steep. The place is very nice and cozy and we chose the overnight option where they then decided whether to have breakfast there or autonomous and the same for dinner. Breakfast here is for true connoisseurs because very rich with many sweets but there is also salty. Excellent homemade pasta. Then I highly recommend trying to make the experience of approaching and then riding the horses with the super availability and dedication of the talented Ilaria that does not make you afraid but take confidence with much tact. When I tried to ride Camilla alone, it didn't feel real. Experience made with my parents where my mom always Camilla and my dad was instead entrusted with the horse Goofy. There is then a beautiful pool not too deep with clear and fresh blue water, (pity, however, that I took an ear infection from the first days). That still didn't affect the wonderful experience we had together here. Greetings also to Fiore and Anna with his shyness but very smiling for the excellent Service performed.
Guys, if you can pop in and you won't regret it. Suitable for children and those who want to ride but also for those who want to relax
